Like the other reviewer, we had an agreement with the owners of Kerang Antiques to sell the contents of my mum's house. She owned a large house, full of antique furniture and collectibles of every kind. We agreed to pay them 30% of the auction proceeds to do this. What we learned after the auction was that the owners bought many of the items for themselves to resell in their antique shop. He charged us commission on the items that we paid him to sell and refuses to pay the money back. I believe that this is double dipping. They did not mention prior to the auction that they were interested in buying any items or we could have come to some agreement. Appalling!!

We bought a breville bread maker BBM800. It is one of the more advanced and expensive models. It works quite well but the detachable paddle that sits inside is useless. It supposedly collapses (goes from an upright position to supine) during the cycle so that the bread is easier to remove from the pan, but it is impossible to clean and stiffens up over a few months so that it doesn't collapse any more. I contacted Breville as the bread maker was only about 6 months old, to be told that the paddle is NOT covered by the warranty as it is considered a "consumable". We have already had to replace the paddle once ($30) and now need another one... Don't bother with this bread maker unless you can afford to replace the paddle on a regular basis. As it is, we can still get the bread out, but it frequently comes out with a large section of bread from the bottom of the loaf....

Approximate cost: $300

Excellent quality meat every time. Great variety. Helpful butchers. Service is also great although it can get crowded at times (but this only serves as a reminder of how good a butcher it is as there are multiple butchers nearby and none of them get busy!)

Fence built well and looks fine but the service was terrible.
They didn't show up when they said they would (on 2 successive days) and nobody called to let me know what was going on. The weather forecast was for rain and I understand that they can't necessarily work in the rain but I was told (when I rang them) that they were watching the radar closely and would come if they could. I was told they would ring me back to let me know if they would come or not. They didn't come or call me back and it didn't rain. They didn't show the next morning either and they didn't call and it didn't rain. When they finally did show up the day after that, they were several hours late, had no paperwork so didn't know the details of the fence to be built and left early, so the fence wasn't completed as promised. When the builder turned up to finish the fence the following day, he was several hours late again and didn't bother to let me know. Overall the poor and unprofessional customer service is the thing I will remember about the company.

Approximate cost: $2000
