Trendy little cafe right near Newport station with very warm and friendly atmosphere. A great meeting place for parents with children as there are books, crayons, paper for the young ones. The coffee is very strong & the food is what you would expect for a cafe of this type. The staff are most attentive & it's always been very busy when I have dined here.

This fish & chip takeaway is our regular. Lovely couple, always welcome you with a smile & most helpful. Grilled fish is my favourite, hamburgers are great too.

As this is a trendy pub that prides themselves on their steaks we found our steaks didn't live up to their reputation especially for what is charged. Our steaks which were ordered medium rare came to our table blue, tough & full of sinew. The beers list however, is extensive with something for every palate. The highlight of our dining experience was our waiters extensive knowledge of the varied cuts of meat which are presented on the menu in French, rather disconcerting for the likes of us. He was honest, friendly & extremely helpful.

Nice atmosphere, friendly bar staff. Steak one on one occasion was wrong cut & over done but next time steak was much better. Good sized servings however a little overpriced for a bistro meal. We will continue to dine here. Public bar menu fantastic & huge sized servings & great value. We were very impressed with the size of calamari & wedges in the public bar. Entertainment being huge tv & fox sports, something for the whole family.

We have been here twice & thoroughly enjoyed both times being the food was delicious although we were disappointed that it wasn't as fiery as we would have liked however, best pappadums I have ever had & staff very friendly & most willing to take photos. On our first time we saw a chef making dough which we found a bonus, unfortunately on our next visit it seemed to be no longer as management changed hands. So both times great :)

I have dined here many times over the last few years, my children love it as there is a huge variety on the menu. Great value for money food wise but corkage cost us more than the bottle of wine we bought, this was on our last visit. Whilst I have been here many times, my man only once, he's stubborn.
