Love the live music and so many cosy places to sit. Good coffee, although the food can be a little hit and miss at times. Nice staff.
I went to Axis for years and, although expensive, did a good job. Unfortunately all the lovely staff have left and they treat customers and junior staff poorly. I miss Gianni.
At my final appointment (which was made on the quietest day of the week and first appointment of the day so I could be as quick as possible, due to an injury, which I explained to them), I was kept waiting 20 minutes before even being greeted and the appointment for a trim - no colour - took 2 hours and cost more than a trim should.
Maggie is a talented and skilled hairdresser. Prices are very reasonable but occasionally you may have to wait around.

Coffee is really good, service is excellent, food is delicious and the setting is pretty! What else could you want! The courtyard is also wheelchair accessible.

I just bought my third round of underpants from Modi Bodi as I’ve been using them for years and my first couple of sets finally wore out.
They are excellent value for money, I’ve saved so much on pads and tampons, plus keeping all that plastic waste out of landfill.
I also sleep better at night because I’m not worried about leakages.
Their website is really informative so it’s easy to make decisions about what suits you.
Approximate cost: $30
A friend raved about them and gave me some as presents over the years, which I liked.
However when I bought soaps from them, the soaps melted away despite being well drained and aired. I asked Beauty and the Bees about it and the said “yep, that happens, it’s because they are fresh” and suggested chopping them up and waiting for them to fade?! This is not a good enough answer and I’m not wasting money on expensive soaps that last 1/4 of the time they should.
Approximate cost: $40
