have stayed here many times and am rarely disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and attentitive, though the graveyard shift managers can be a bit grumpy. The food is fantastic during the week but can be pretty ordinary on the weekends. Great value hotel.
What an amazing place! I spent 2 perfect nights at Tonic and I've already checked my calander to see when I can return. Nici runs a great operation, we didn't want for anything all weekend. I can't recommend Tonic highly enough!
BEST country pub ever!!! Been there a couple of times, and now everytime we go to the Yarra Valley, thats where we stay AND eat and drink! Great beegarden! It just feels right. I saw Dave Graney there live in the beergarden, Fantastic!!
The new hotel is beautiful. The food was superb as was the service. We had the Angel steak and it was amazing. The atmoshphere was also fantastic...I recommend the out door table's as the weather is very good for outdoor dining
Rainbow Beach in general was a fantastic place to holiday
Bei Amici is a brilliant "local" restaurant. the food is always good - from the calamari and pecorino starter to the veal scallopine, everything they do is delicious. The desserts are different every week as well, and not to be missed. Service is always very welcoming and friendly. A true locals restaurant for the well heeled of Darling Point
Small, cute and cosy Home Dining Room is the kind of place you'd expect with the name - friendly, knowledgeable staff, terrific food and a warm atmosphere. We arrived for dinner and were greeted straight away by the owner and shown straight to a table, the restaurant was busy but we never felt we waited for anything - very professional. Wonderful food and great to see so much Victorian produce on the menu
Wonderful restaurant tucked away in Hardware Lane. We met for drinks first downstairs in Charlie's Bar, the bar was so good we almost didn't make it upstairs for dinner. But I'm glad we did, food was fantastic - make sure you save room for the cheese plate, best one I've had in Melbourne! Highly recommended, can't wait to go back soon.
The local club with cheap food and cheap drinks. Probably more for locals as I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Has a big screen for any sports events you care to watch. Probably better then average food - there's different specials each night - but the Sunday roast appears to be the best value. Drinks are cheap too, and there's also plenty of specials depending on what they've overstocked on I guess. It's not as massive as you'd probably think but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Went with friends and had the degustation menu. While the food was tasty the portions were tiny - no comparison to other. Will go back to try a la carte menu though since the service was good and the atmosphere friendly.
You sit at the sushi bar in full view of the chef's skills, which is really impressive with the blow torch they use to cook sushi. The food is so fresh and tasty, you keep wanting more. Highly recommend the miso cod and the spicy scallops, you won't be disappoint. Will definitely be making another trip back.
