In my opinion, East Ocean is the best Chinese restaurant in Chinatown; in terms of quality, service and atmosphere, it is hard to beat.
The ingredients are always fresh, which is evident in the taste and presentation of the food - which is always nice to see.
East Ocean offers the best Yum Cha in Sydney. The variety of dishes is great. I would recommend trying the Peking Duck, as it is amongst the best you will find.
All in all, a great restaurant and well worth a vist whenever you are in the area.

If you're in the mood for pizza or pasta and either feel like dining in or having it delivered, the Elvis Pizza Cafe has it covered. The pizzas are tasty with plenty of topping and the bases are nice and crispy. The price may be a little higher than at the chainstores, but they are definitely worth the extra cost

The food is more Chinese than Vietnamese with Chinese waiters and the noise level really high when the restaurant is fullish in the evenings. Food is average. Unfortunately it is so hard to find authentic Vietnamese food in the suburbs,

Great place for a crowd. We had a big birthday party there and they were so helpful, and the food was fresh and even though they catered for a lot of people the food didn't feel as though it was mass distributed.

I have enjoyed going here for cocktails several times, however when I decided to try the restaurant I was disappointed. The meals were small and the food was quite tasteless. There was also quite a long wait between ordering and receiving our food. I will not be going back here for a meal again, but I can highly recommend the cocktails - delicious and definitely well priced!

While the food here is very tasty and presented beautifully, it is a little on the expensive side, especially for dinner. Their lunch menu is cheaper, so I would recommend dining then. The meals are prepared from fresh ingredients, and the wait staff are quite polite

The food was good, the floor and kitchen staff where both helpful and pleasant. Good value for money and BYO. Casual dinning atmosphere and a great little spot for dinner on your way home. Unfortunately another diner decided to throw a hissy fit in the middle of the restaurant and throw glasses and empty beer bottles at someone she was sitting with.

This is not your average pub food. They do excellent for for an average to high price for a pub, however you wouldn't be upset getting it served in a decent restaurant. They deserve good reviews for their consistently good food. Great atmosphere also.

Great atmosphere, yummy food, friendly staff and fun drinks. I go here quite often to meet friends. Either for drinks or dinner. Love being down by the harbour. The place to bring that special someone you want to impress or just to meet friends for that little bit extra.
