This is not the best place to go for coffee and meals, but they do happen to have some really nice cakes that are worth the effort. Their prices are a lot higher than other places in the city you could get cakes though, so don't be afraid to look further. The staff are nice
Love the 80s music on a Friday night. Cocktails are always a hit and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Appropriate for after work drinks or a big night out with friends. My favourite club.
A very reasonably priced restaurant fit for couples or large parties. I went to a function there and it was beautiful. Some of the best wait staff in Brisbane I think - very professional but not overbearingly uptight. Fantastic dining experience
This is one of those perfect spots for alfresco dinning. It is quite casual and no mocking around with their food, good for a lunch or afternoon snack. located in the Mercure Hotel and offers stunning views of the Brisbane River
Really great food and professional service. I really enjoyed my experience here. Perfect for a small group of friends catching up. Save this place for a special occasion. Very good position in the city and easy access. Lots of parking around too which helps a lot!
Seriously good coffee, not so flash service BUT this company is well run by a dedicated team. I think the change in staff this year at the Merlo shop on campus has let them down, but otherwise the best of the bunch
Very classy atmosphere. Have only been there once but would dine again. High teas are quite good but I think they sell out quite quickly, so best go earlier on in the day
This is a neat little cafe in the business end of town. They have a great range of fresh sandwiches and cakes. Our favourite is the muffin and coffee deal which starts at about $5.95 and goes up depending on your size of coffee. The staff are friendly and usually remember how you have your coffee even if you are semi-regular like us. Only negative is that they don't seem to be open on the weekend.
They make one of the best mochas in town - this place actually feels like what a coffee shop should feel like. Small and cosy with great well-priced coffee and staff that are friendly but not over-the-top with their service.
Coffee is good, it's very busy in the mornings when I go there. It's just a small cafe so you often find yourself waiting outside for be served. Cold drinks are pretty good but they are huge and overpowering and have a lot of calories, but they taste good, so try and forget the huge calorie intake
