I had lunch at the Currambine tavern with a friend on a weekday. When we arrived and were shown to a table we were just left alone and it wasn't explained that we had to order at the counter. We had difficulty trying to catch someones attention to find this out. The menu only had 2 vegetarian options, one of which was misrepresented. When I ordered the spinach salad, and explained i didn't want it with chicken or prawns as I was vegetarian, and compented that there weren't many options for vegetarians, she didn't even acknowledge my comment verbally but just gave me a rude stare. when the meal arrived it had bacon pieces all through it so i couldn't eat anyway.

I bought some products from a new skin care range that i haven't tried before, called Avene, as it was on sale, and the sales assistant gave me a brochure on the entire range and explained which products would be best for my skin type and then gave me some free samples that she had at the counter so i could try some of the other products that i wasn't buying that day. she was extremely friendly and helpful without being pushy, and displayed great product knowledge.

I went in to Jade and asked to a style cut to make my long unruly hair short and neat. Debbie did an amazing job. She explained what she recommedned based on my hair type and what products i should use, but she never pushed any products on me. I now have a light and easy to maintain hair style for summer.

I visited Dymocks Midland a few weeks ago on a Sunday and asked for help in locating a book that is out of print. The Sales assistant went above and beyond to help me. She checked all the other Dymocks stores to see if they stocked it and then searched online to see if anybody else had it available. When noone did, she then gave me the details of 2 companies that help track down out of print books via second hand sources. Briliiant cuistomer service. I didn't think this kind of service existed anymore.

A pizza shop that actually has decent vegetarian options. The Vesuvius lived up to its name, and the pizza was ready exactly when they said it would be.
