Apart from the fact that John is friendly, easy going and put up with my crazy dog, he was also very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he was doing it - in an educative way rather than condescendingly as some mechanics might. He was also perfectly willing to acknowledge when he didn't have the solution, which in my case meant not being able to diagnose and fix a wiring issue. He immediately organised to take my car to an auto electrician who was able to fix it straight away, and John then explained to me what the issue had been. His prices are fixed and reasonable, especially considering I didn't have to leave my own home. I have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone, and am very happy to have found such a great mechanic that I am confident will be able to assist me whenever and however my car needs.
