Val seemed very nice and the price was good, but when I went she seemed very distracted. Val was working on a client who was getting some color put in her hair and was also watching TV. I wasn't sure what I wanted and was hoping to get some input but not much was given. I ended up getting a very basic cut and it looked nice, but felt the whole experience was a bit lacking.

This place is definitely worth a repeat visit. The food was amazing and the menu had so many good options that it was a shame to have to only choose one dish. They also have deliciously looking rolls.

This is a really nice bookshop with a very peaceful and friendly environment. The prices are a little bit high, but nothing extraordinary considering it is an independent bookstore. It's a nice place to pop in to an have a browse and purchase something to read on the beach.
I went here for a friends "birthday brunch" and I thought it was an odd choice. The layout of the place doesn't quite work for a larger group. They also don't allow any changes to the menu, so if you want an eggs benedict with bacon and not ham (which i did), you have to just order an extra side of bacon. I ended up ordering the big breakfast and it was not very good. The people I went with seemed to enjoy their meals, so maybe I just ordered wrong.
If I wanted a good breakfast and nowhere else was open, i'd probably just stay home and cook my own.
Like most places in South Yarra, this place is expensive. However, when you get your clothes back they are like new, and you have the peace of mind of knowing that your clothes are not going to get ruined. I've been to many dry cleaners that have made my clothes worse. This is the first one that has been consistently good over years.
This is a great place for Chinese food. The portions aren't overwhelmingly big and it doesn't leave you with that heavy msg feeling you can get at other restaurants. It is a bit squashy, so I would avoid this place if you are a big group. But it's BYO which is a big bonus!
This place is just what a Chinese restaurant should be. It's clean but not extravagantly decorated. In fact, it's a bit of a funny place that feels like a cluttered home. But the people are very friendly and the food is amazing!
I've been here before and they've done a good job, but when I went last week and got "the works" I was a disappointed to find that they had completely missed a coffee stain on the car. It was a big coffee stain and I had specifically asked them to clean that up. The rest of the car looked amazing, except that there were some little dust/crumbs left in the cup holder area.
For what I paid I was disappointed.

These guys make an amazing chicken schnitzel foccacia! The bread is always perfectly done and the schnitzel is fresh and succulent. I've gone here several times and keep getting the chicken schnitzel foccacia because I love it so much. The service is good, but just be warned that it gets packed during lunch time.

I went here to get my nails done for a job interview. The ladies were nice and while I waited showed me the range of colours they had on offer. I am not someone who regularly gets my nails done, but I thought there could have easily been more variety.
The lady who did my nails was very nice and friendly, and the end result looked very professional. I couldn't stop touching my nails! However, I was a bit taken aback at the price. But then again, I'm not someone who regularly does this type of thing, so I don't really know what it would cost. The main reason I am giving it an average score is that the shellac started lifting after only a few days. I admit I had a hectic schedule where I was doing a lot of work with my hands, but it was very disappointing and it also left my nails in a less healthy state. Hope this review helps - other than the price and the fact that the polish didn't last very long, I really enjoyed the experience I had at Revenir.
