Read adverts carefully. If something is available second hand as is, think it over because if it is faulty you may have thrown away good money. Look for second hand items in working order and check that it works if you pick it up, before taking it home.

Ivey's reminds me of the take away stores that I grew up with as a child. How many Take Away businesses do you see that sell not only tasty fried chicken but tasty roasts? I hope Ivey's stays open for a long time, so I can continue to enjoy it for just as long :)

The cinemas are fairly small as are the screens but they are a good price for what you get. The service is not as good as it could be but I think that's because the cinema works have a variety of things to do instead of one main job like they do in bigger cinemas. There is a good variety of food and drinks to choose from and they're reasonably priced.

I think overall, the small screens and less seats makes the movie experience more pleasurable than being in a large cinema filled with lots of people. I wouldn't hesitate to watch a movie in any of Greater Union cinemas in Australia. I think it's value for money.

One of the reasons I miss working in town is not having my regular lunches I had in Bellygood! A variety of foods to choose from which looks appealing and tastes great! Very good value and the service is really good. When I meet friends in town for lunch Bellygood is still my choice.

If we are looking to have a treat or catch up with friends, we go to Sexy Coffee. They have such a great range of coffees and teas to choose from and some really deletable food. The service is quite good though when it gets busy, I sometimes feel it drops a little. It has a really nice, chilled out, relaxed atmosphere.

The prices are low to mid range and I've found their products to be either average in quality or surprisingly quite good. The staff are friendly and the store is rather welcoming. I'm a regular shopper and expect to remain one :)

I have enjoyed several lovely lunches at Carriers Arms. They were great value. I have had several dinners at Carriers Arms and a few of the meals rather disappointing. The sizing was good but the meal itself was not well cooked nor well flavoured. The price for this meals was in the higher bracket. I am aware that they did change some staff so I can only hope it has improved. I will give them another go due to the lunches being so nice, the building has been really nicely refurbished and the service is quite good too.

This is the second time I have been disappointed by Fastway Couriers, due to the time it takes to get a delivery and the fact, that I only live 12 minutes to the centre of Maryborough yet they don't deliver to my door, even though other Courier companies do. I am only using their service because the seller of the products gives no other option. I am currently waiting on my item that was sent from Sydney and expected to arrive in Maryborough. Five days the wait has been so far and after calling to find out where it is, we have been informed that they put it in Australia Post this morning as they don't have a depot in Maryborough. If I'd had the option, I would have just had it sent by Aussie Post in the first place!! Not happy.

I have enjoyed every subway I have purchased at the local Subway but the reason I didn't rate the quality higher is because I once bought a meal type deal which included a yorgurt. I had gone to Subway in the first place because I wanted to eat something reasonably healthy. My yogurt and my husband's was past it's use by date. They didn't have anymore yorgurts to replace it with and the girl serving me didn't see it as a big issue. There was no apology and I was offered cookies for replacement. I would have preferred to get a couple of dollars or something else than the cookie but as there were customers waiting, I felt pressured to take the cookies and leave. I have been back since but I have only purchased a sub. If I was to ever purchase a yogurt or milk drink, I would check the use by date first.

I like the prices of a lot of Avon Products, especially as I am currently on a tight budget. I do get a little impatient having to wait for an order to come in but I can't expect the Avon Reps to have a lot of the products in stock. I've found the Avon Reps in my area to do a good job but admittedly I stopped buying from Avon after my last purchase, a handbag arrived. The advertising photo led me to believe the bag was a lot bigger than it was. The stitching quality was also quite poor. The bottles of lotion I'd bought were smaller than they looked in the advertising photos but that was my fault, for not reading what size the bottles were.
I would likely still buy from Avon again but I would stick to make up and beauty products but I would read carefully to know what I was actually purchasing (amount wise).
