I highly recommend property styling, especially the services of The Hire Rangers. My mum had an unfurnished property on the market for sale for 4 weeks before getting in touch with The Hire Rangers. Within one week of the property being styled, buyer interest escalated and she received an offer. Property styling definitely made a remarkable difference. These guys are super professional and really well priced compared to the 4 other quotes we got! For a 6 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms across 3 stories in the inner west, we only paid less than $4000 to have it all furnished.

This medical clinic is in a good location, i.e. very close to Highpoint and a public-transport hub and they do bulk-billing. Generally they are ok, but they seem to have extremely long wait times even if you have an appointment with them. On this one occassion I had booked for a travel vaccination and the nurse didn't explain that they were not covered under the bulk billing policy. When I arrived it also turned out that the receptionist didn't even write my appointment in the book. I was told the wait would be about $40 minutes. I would definitely go to a non-bulk billing place next time.

Approximate cost: $40

Gillies is a great guy. Very calm and very patient. My boyfriend got his braces done with Dr Gillies. He got them when he was 24. He got the invisi-line ones. It cost him about $6000 in total.
The fact that it is difficult to get appointments with him sometimes is a testament to his popularity and expertise. He definitely knows his stuff.
I got my braces done with Dr Gillies over ten years ago. Top and bottom teeth. He hasn't changed. Very happy with the result.

I went to get a new hairstyle as I've had the same hairstyle for over 10 years. My friend also recommended them.
I've always trusted Korean hairdressers as they don't go crazy with the thinning scissors and they are stylish and understand Asian hair.
The hairdresser, Michelle was very honest and didn't cut my hair as short as I wanted. I was hoping for ear length hair, but she gave me above the shoulders) I appreciated her honesty.

For a wash (very good shampoo by the way), cut (senior stylist) and blow wave it was $55.

Although other Korean hairdressers charge about $40 for the same service, such as Good Morning Hair, I was very happy with the service and would come again.

Approximate cost: $55

Awesome. Just awesome. If you are after authentic Vietnamese Pork rolls in the Western suburbs/Footscray. This is the place to go. You can't say you like Vietnamese pork rolls unless you've tried a Nhu Lan pork roll. Although the prices have gone up during the years it is still worth it. It is now $3.80, which is still cheaper than buying something from Subway just down the road. It is extremely easy to order. Just pick what no. you want from their large board which displays the types of rolls they have and they whip it up for you in no-time. It is always fresh (bread and filling -ise) because of the high turn-over and large flow of customers.

Approximate cost: $3.80

I love this place. The food is fantastic and such great value. It is probably one of my favorite Vietnamese eateries in Springvale. The service is efficient and the food comes out quickly. It is extremely authentic and professional. They have a really big menu so when you eat out with a group of friends, there is something for everyone.

This review is for Izakaya Den, Melbourne VIC

I've heard people rave about this place for ages. When I finally went with my best friend we were extremely impressed.
It is located in this pokey basement on Russell Street. You have to peel back these velvet curtains to reveal the restaurant. We got there at 6pm and got a seat at the bar just before it got really busy. Izakaya Den provides fusion style snack-sized dishes which keeps your taste buds wanting more. It's great for catching up with friends - Izakaya is the Japanese version of tapas.
It felt really authentic and it was as the waiters were Japanese.
They had a really impressive drinks menu - we had some Umera Plum Wine.
I really recommend their corn-fritters with green tea dipping sauce. They also have this duck skewers that they cook over the grill. It was delicious.
Regarding the ambience - Izakaya den has this nice dim lighting, modern music and an abundance of patrons creates a fun and light-hearted dining atmosphere.

I had a good experience. The hairdresser, Tim was excellent i.e. he offered very honest and blunt advice and knew what cut would suit my hair type (wavy/thin) and face shape (heart shape). My only complaint is that one of the assistants was really moody and gave me a greasy when I asked for peppermint tea instead of tea and coffee.
They have a $25 discount voucher for first time goers on their website so my haircut, blowave and wash cost $45!!!

Approximate cost: $70

This review is for Western Lawyers, St Albans VIC

verified email - 25 May 2011

Western Lawyers acted for us for a purchase of property. Despite being cheaper than other places, they did not explain anything about the entire conveyancing process to ask. When I asked questions they were unresponsive.

I would rather pay more for someone who can communicate and are reliable.

Poor communication, poor grasp of English despite working in the legal industry, I agree with you Rawei, they did not return my calls or respond to my emails.
I would not recommend them for any services in future.
