Sydney has several good indoor climbing places, and Climb Fit is one of the best all-round ones, featuring many good 8-10m tope-rope climbs, a few long lead-climb routes, and a large and well-set bouldering area. There is also a complete fitness centre on the premises, and fitness-, yoga- and other classes are regularly held, as well as various features for children and team-building events. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices reasonable, considering that the use of the fitness centre is included. Like most of the indoor places in Sydney, the vibe is friendly and relaxed, and there is a nice mix of beginners and hard climbers, men and women, old and young, and local and international.

Large video store in what was previously as movie theatre; still has that nice and interesting vibe to it. Lots of good old movies, and keeps up with the latest ones too. Cheap rentals (eg., $1 Wednesday weeklies) and also cheap ex-rentals to buy. Nice owner and casual-working kids too.

Great little place, with big menu, good food, and cheap. Lots of good dishes and lots of food in each. Service is fast and efficient, and the staff finds a big table for us without fuss or hesitation when I take a crowd there to eat. Getting to be one of my favourite places.

This place is great: huge variety of fruit, vegies, beans, meat, yoghurt, cheese, olives, and deli items. Some of the deli items are a bit pricey but the vegies, fruit, and meat are usually very cheap, and there are often some terrific bargains, especially when buying bulk. One of the checkout girls is a bit surly but everyone else is really friendly. I will definitely return; in fact, I do most of my shopping there already.
