This place is great for breads and pastries, although their breakfasts aren't as cook quality or generous servings as they used to be. They seem to be moving into more of a casual dinner market now, with cheap drinks and dinner deals (such as $15 parma on certain nights). It's not really the place for a 'dinner' or 'drinks' atmosphere but if the weather's nice and you sit outside on Chapel St it's alright.

This place does great burgers with a decent sized beef patty. I especially love the 'spicy royale' as it's a got a jalepinio sauce. It's quite popular on weekends so there can be a wait and it has just a small seating area outside, but if the weather's good you can take your burger to a park or to Brighton beach.

Have been coming here for years. Dom's has a great selection of meat, risotto, chicken, pasta and pizza dishes, including some interesting offerings on the specials board. The servings are HUGE. Service can be a little slow at times, other times it's fine.

The layout and menu has recently changed at this place, so it's now more of a traditional pub atmosphere and pub food. Food is overpriced, drinks about average for Melbourne. Closes pretty early for a Sat night (about 11:30) and they don't have an outdoor area anymore. Not much of a vibe.

This is one of my favourite dumpling places in Melbourne. Huge servings, very cheap and some good flavours. They even let you take the leftovers in a takeaway box (costs $1). it's ALWAYS busy though, so be prepared to line up for 10-20 mins.

Came here with a friend last weekend after reading great reviews online. They do have an extensive menu but the servings were pretty small and not so great for the high price. Toast was a bit overcooked so it was quite dry and poached eggs weren't very runny in the middle. Some confusion with my friend's order. The coffee was good so I'd go back just for coffee but probably not for breakfast again.

This review is for La Roche Cafe, St Kilda VIC

This place has some great daily specials, like bacon and eggs for $8 or a HUGE parma for $15. Also great pizzas. Also good drink specials and certain times during the day. It's a very casual place but it could use more, and more attentive staff. Sometime service is really slow even when they're not busy.

It's a typical Vietnamese restaurant, with friendly staff and pretty fast service. A good amount of flavour in their hotter dishes. Good for casual, cheap dining.

Been coming here for years. The doctors are very attentive and understanding even though they get quite busy. Also they bulk bill for healthcare card holders.

I often stop in with friends after work. It's clean and the service is fast, and they serve beer! You can eat a huge meal for around $10. Great dishes all round and they make the noodles and dumplings fresh on the premises. My favourites are the wontons in broth and the shanghai dumplings. I've introduced all my CBD working friends to this place!
