I come here to buy lebanese sweets. They sells by individual pieces but it's cheaper to buy by weight. I usually buy about $10 worth which gives me abut 8-10 pieces of baklava variations.

Service is very quick because everything is made already. You just choose what you want, they weigh it and you pay. If you buy more than about 8 slices, it comes in a nice plastic tray and wrapped in clear cellophane.

There's parking on the side street (right outside it) so it's very convenient to stop by and pick up some sweets. They are very sweet and delicious to have with tea.

The people that work here are very friendly. My first time coming here, they described all the sweets they have, including what was in them briefly. Was very impressed that they didn't get annoyed at me!

The food here is over-rated. One of us ordered the soba and was served instant noodles! What a rip off. The waitress seemed to grow annoyed by us asking for elaboration on their rather broad, unspecific menus for the sets. Afterall, what type of sushi and what exactly would be the dessert? Turns out the dessert was pretty much a slice of orange.

I would not recommend this place for fans of japanese food. You will be dismayed. However, if you live in the area and want take-away japanese food, then this place is a good option.

The decor of the place is quite 'cutesy' and gives the place a very japanese vibe. So it's quite different to eat-in. I'm not too picky with my simple sushi, so will definitely come back for that only.

Not happy with this place at all. It's expensive for the amount of food they give you. $20 will give you a very small dish of meat (like 5 v thin slices). You have to cook it yourself which is fine (I enjoy it) but once they said it was going to create too much smoke so I could not get the korean bbq set. Very offended as there was at least 2 other couples having that meal.

To be full, I had to spend about $40 per head. I think this is WAY too expensive for korean food out west.

Approximate cost: $45

The place has been newly renovated - the entrance almost feels like a hotel lobby! Very impressed.

I came here to eat on my partner's birthday. On your birthday, they give you $20 credit to spend at any of their stores. At the cafe, the fish and chips seems to be their signature dish. It's just $12 the last time I went (Sept 2009). The serving is quite small but it's very tasty. The salads are quite dry and bland but I guess it helps balance out the salty chips.

There is quite a long waiting period (up to 30-40 minutes) just for fish and chips or a chicken schnitzel during lunch hour. It also gets quite noisy during this hour too. Otherwise, outside of this hour, the ambience is quite calm and relaxing. Nice seating area (soft cushions!!) at the dining area. :)

Other dishes are quite overpriced and don't taste that great seeing how much you paid for it either. The cafe selection (cakes, coffees etc) is also very expensive. (more than 6-7$ for cake slices)

There is a chinese restaurant upstairs, but I've never been here. Will try it soon.

Approximate cost: $15

This is right next to Reading Cinemas so it's a very convenient place to get something to eat before catching a movie. So much better than having sudden junk food cravings when queuing for movie tickets.

The food is always fresh - something I noted in particular and the burger I had was very tasty. There was a bit of a wait though - maybe because it was on a Friday night and it was quite busy.

The ambience is quite nice on a Sunday night when it is quieter. I usually get a coffee and cake with my partner just before sunday night movie. I prefer to sit outdoors and with the early summer breeze blowing, the ambience is awesome! Nice and quiet.

The owner Michael is usually around. It's nice to see the store owner actively helping out.

Singapore crab is so nice - A must try dish! Service isn't that great, difficult to get hold of a waiter for assistance, especially during peak lunch hours and dinner events. Their lunch time yum cha is like any other yum cha. Nothing in particular stood out to me.

Restaurant looks alright but is like any other large restaurant you'd find. I'm quite sceptical about large chinese restaurants so I might've walked into this restaurant feeling so already. Might have made me biased.

On the outside, it looks like your average pub and pub food but I was actually very surprised. It's very cheap and their burgers are awesome! I also usually get the steak and chips which is one of the best pub steaks that i've had in the West.

Drinks are very cheap too. :)

The ambience is so much better since the place has had their renovation. It doesn't feel as 'sleazy' but much more modern and welcoming.

They also have all-day breakfast!!! nom nom

This is located inside Fairfield RSL club but the decor of the club and the restaurant feels like a 5 star hotel. :) They have done a huge refurbishment, hence, the 10/10 rating. Love the lounge area in La Tratt, v funky, great for after dinner coffee.

Service staff are wonderful, not like a usual RSL, they make you feel very special and happy to serve. Perfect for a birthday or anniversary (I went for a birthday). Food is really top nosh and "different" in a good way. Bit pricey, but when you go, you'll realise it's worth it.

Easy parking and they have a courtesy cart to take you if you can't walk, which is driven by a man in a top hat! I was surprised, as I'm not a "club" person. Check out the rest of the Club when you go, love all the little Buddas and water features around the place.

This restaurant has an amazing wine list!

I have to say I'm very impressed with Deniro's. It's one of those hidden gems in south west Sydney. The restuarant is small, only seating about 50 people. It's store front and location are nothing spectacular. Interior design is very minimalistic with its white walls and equally consistent white lighting.

Service was fantastic and all staff were welcoming and friendly. We received our drinks quickly, and our starters not too soon after. Our mains didn't take too long, and all the meals arrived at the same time.

I thought the meals were a little bit pricey with entrees averaging $15 and mains averaging $18, however, portions (particularly entrees) were quite large and are well worth the price. Eating out as a group of six cost about $30 a head for 2x Jugs of Soft Drink, 2x Starters, 3x Entrees and 6x Mains.

Lao food on the quiet side of Fairfield is so much cheaper than this place and tastes better too. Food here is pretty expensive for laos/thai. The food was ok, didn't have the "WOW" effect on me, and I'm a person who loves laos/thai food. The service was ok and the waiters/waitresses did not seem to be very welcoming.

I would definitely recommend take-away instead of eat-in if you plan to get food from here.
