Lovely atmosphere and good value, combine with a traditional pub menu for a great eating experience. Free soup and bread rolls are great for the hip-pocket, as are the week-day specials. A real hit with our family.

We have dined here at least a dozen times, with mixed experiences. Service is often poor with forgetfulness and lack of attention, but I've had worse. The "Specials Board" seems to be the same each week, and portions are average. Was better a few years ago.

We have dined here only once, and our only complaint is that we didn't find it sooner. Better value, quality and service than any pubs in the area. We've already told our friends about it, and we'll be back sooner rather than later.
