Lawrence dry cleaners Waterloo (the head office) lost a Hugo Boss suit worth approx. $1400 of mine. The manager or person serving accused me of saying verbally it was a $500 suit (of course no proof) - this is a barefaced lie - I never said anything of the sort. Hugo Boss don't even sell suits that cheap. They then sent me a $300 cheque. I would never ever use any Lawrence Dry cleaner outlet - the whole customer experience was appalling but what riles me most is the dishonesty - i,e the false claim about what I said so they could try to reduce the compensation. This was a defining customer 'moment of truth' and they have behaved appallingly.
