So glad these guys have taken over 'All Phones' in Castle Plaza - look for them in a centre booth down near the Target end of the store.

These guys have been so helpful - from purchasing a phone (they really know their brands and models, and which will be best for you), to which plan will work, to helping you out if you've lost your phone / trashed your sim etc. I have done all those things with these guys, and they're still happy to see me even if it might mean no money and lots of work. Really helpful!

Approximate cost: $20-???

One of my favourite pubs in the city. It has a really nice vibe with lots of old op-shoppy conversation settings in one room - a bar, a pool table, a fireplace, and great live music out the back (I mean really good). Their beer selection is one of the best in Adelaide. I try and try something new every time I go. Sadly they don't do meals, but they're cool with you ordering a pizza =).

Amazing! They cook everything as ordered (not sitting around in a baine marie like some thai places) - so it's fresh and hot. Their chicken and eggplant was to die for (and I don't usually like eggplant). It may take a little longer when they're busy, but not so that you'd really notice. A very welcoming place, with a great welcoming atmosphere.

Great second-hand bookshop. Big selection and in alphabetical order (down to book titles) so it's easy to find. Cheap - their western and science-fiction / fantasy collections are especially large. But there are good crime, non-fiction and other genres as well. The guys that run the shop (father and son) are funny and helpful.

This review is for Ding Hao Chinese Restaurant, Adelaide SA

Great sit down restaurant. My family often eats here when the olds are down from the country. Something for everyone. They have authentic chinese food as well as the tried and true 'Aussie-Chinese' favs. My dad gets the beef and black bean every time, whereas my brother and I like to try something different. The waiters will check "if you're sure" when ordering something like the spicy tripe (which is yum by the way) or Ling Fish (my brother loves this, but it's often too much for western palates). The Duck meal is fantastic! Authentic Peking Duck.

Approximate cost: $11-20

Great, like everyone else said. Their pizzas are tasty (wood oven). Only bad things are the gelati and the acoustics (especially up the back). I recommend the front of the restaurant or outside if you're at all hard of hearing.

This review is for KFC, Edwardstown SA

The food is the same price and quality as all KFCs. What sets this one apart, though, is the abysmal service. If I go here I always check my order because, as often as not, it has been stuffed up in some way (items forgotten, even burgers made incorrectly a couple of times???).

Great service. The people here really care about animals. My cat is not a big fan of vets but they were very patient with her.

This review is for Hotaru Japanese Restaurant, Adelaide SA

This is the real deal. Best Japanese restaurant in Adelaide. I was looking for a place with 'real' Japanese food so I could show friends (I lived in Japan for 18 months) and this is the one I take them to. The price is reasonable - even more so if you consider the quality of the ingredients. The seafood is fresh. Although it's not something I ever saw in Japan the teriyaki barramundi is highly recommended. You won't be able to stop until it's picked clean - great to share. The sushi boat is also great and the tacoyaki is an authentic fried snack. The hand made ice cream is also great. The place is always cold though, so wear a jacket.
