Great place to see the history of the mining era of Ararat, very informative with a lot of interactive exhibits for young and old. Plenty of Chinese history as well. Reasonable entry fee and a great place for families or people who have interest in gold mining and Chinese history.

Friendly and laid back service. The room was tidy and clean and very spacious for a double bed with cooking facilities. Heat pump heating and paid tv channels made the stay pleasant as it was cold and raining during our stay.

Had pizza delivered to our motel during our stay in Ararat, some odd flavors on the menus as well as your classics like Aussie and Hawaiian. Service took a while and unfortunately wasn't worth the wait.

Dropped in for a quick bite on our travels and it was a pleasant cafe in a small town with your run of the mill baked goods and pie. Friendly service with a smile.

Service is great and friendly here. A great place to go with a group of friends for dinner or drinks late at night. The interior is quite unique and the outdoor area at the back is great on a good day.

Interesting wall art upstairs. Service was attentive, but food was a bit average. The deals they offer at the door are attractive but the food itself could do with a bit of work in terms of size and maybe a bit heavier on the seasoning.

Not the best looking cafe, but they make a good feed for the price and location. I had sausages and eggs on toast with a flat white and it hit the spot. No frills meal for a good price and it was great flat white as well. Service was fast. Heated seating outside too.

Pretty good deals on new release and recent release videos. They have a good range for such a small establishment as well has snacks and refreshments.

Had a coffee here and it was a pleasant atmosphere, and the coffee was decent. Service is attentive and friendly. They also serve lunch and dinner also.

Reasonable sushi all the usual like my favorite cooked tuna rolls, with sesame seeds. They also serve noodles of Japanese and Chinese variety's at a fairly good price.
