A great old fashioned bakery that also sells a great selection of breads. Pies are lovely, coffee is very good and you can even get Lady Grey tea there. There is a table with children's toys, so yu can relax while you have a break. Not very big, so lunch times probably not the best time to take the kids. The Lemon tart is fantastic.
This guest house is very charming and quaint. Located very close to the Leura shopping centre. Our room was quite spacious, and you can wonder downstairs for tea and coffee anytime. A great place for a weekend away.
Worth a look, and best to look on a weekly basis. This shop receives plenty of good second hand well known brands. Recently I missed out on a pair of Victoria Beckham jeans that were in the window. The lady before me got them for a bargain. Some of the best dressed models confess to op shopping for clothes. Staff are friendly. You can buy plenty of second hand books also. The good thing is that you can shop whilst donating to a good cause.
Great place for buying kitchenware, dinnerware, glassware including the major brands like Scanpan, Jamie Oliver, Wedgewood and Waterford. Specials always available. I bought fantastic Jamie Oliver cutlery for Christmas presents last year. Lots of parking available. This store is better than the QVB store as there is loads more space to shop.
Very friendly staff, with pretty good Chinese food. Menu pretty extensive. Wise to book as it gets busy. Good place to catch up with friends for a quick meal.
Good location for the cafe near Wahroonga Park. It is a little pricey, but generally food is good. Best to book if you are going for breakfast on the weekend.
If you want the best seafood in Sydney, go to De Costi's Fishmarket in Castle Hill. They have great prices and a very good variety of fish and fresh seafood. You may have to wait a few minutes to get served which is a good sign. The fish is always fresh, and the staff are very helpful with ideas for cooking the fish.
This is by the best place to stay on the Central Coast. Location is great, views of the beach, and close to shops and facilities. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in Australia. Besides a buffet, they will cook whatever you want that is hot and fresh and not been sitting in a bain marie for hours. It is only an hour's drive from Sydney, so not too far to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Well worth a visit to purchase coffee from an expert in the business. Lance Witham, the owner has had many years working in the coffee business, originally in South Africa on coffee plantations, and now in Sydney. He really knows his stuff, and will assist you choose the best coffee for your palate. Terrific blends of coffee, and some tea too.
This cafe is lovely. Originally founded by parents of special needs children, this cafe has provided employment for children on the upper north shore who have some sort of special needs, and find it harder to obtain work in mainstream businesses. It is open for lunch and dinner, and also does catering for corporate events. By going there, you get nice food and service, and also contribute to the local community.
