Just the place when you're in need of a nice warm bowl of soupy goodness. The food here is great and you can tell the ingredients and veggies are fresh and of good quality. Portion sizes are also quite generous for the prices. For even better value go for the Combo meals which give you an appetizer and green tea for $5.50 extra (the appetizers on it's own costs $7.50).

Try the Takoyaki (ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter with octopus or squid) or the Soft shell crab for good value starter (portions are a good size and we usually share one between 2 or 3 of us)

All their ramen (noodles) and donburi (rice) dishes are great with vegetarian options and spicy options available to suit any palette.

Approximate cost: $11

I was very lucky to get a place at this child care center because their waiting list is quite long. The carers are top notch and are very attentive to the children. My Little Man gets to experience so many things since they let the kids play with sand, clay, woodchips even mud. There is a massive outdoor area for the little ones separate from the bigger kids who have their own big outdoor play area. All great experiences for a 1 year old.

They also have an on site cook who makes such amazing healthy food for the kids. I've been there during lunch time and the smells coming from the kitchen is so tempting.

Just a sample from this week's menu: Butter Chicken, Rice & Pappadums, Tomato & Macaroni Bake, Pumpkin Soup
Sausage Rolls with Morning Tea (e.g. weetbix and fruit), Afternoon Tea (e.g. pancakes and jam) and a 4.45pm snack (cheese and fruit).

Approximate cost: $84 per day

This review is for Medusa Greek Taverna, Sydney NSW

The food here is AMAZING and in sinfully large portions. It is also a favorite with myself and colleagues who always go there when we're in Sydney for business. Their slow roast lamb is so good that I've ordered it 3 visits in a row. Their seasonal menu occasionally offers a pork belly dish which is the best I've ever tasted.

As for appetizers, try the goats cheese wrapped in filo pastry and drizzled with honey or the prawn saganaki. And if you can find room for dessert (we usually do but with great difficulty) their signature dessert is called the Medusa, which is Ouzo soaked strawberries topped with an ouzo sorbet and rose flavoured fairy floss.

Peter, the owner, also walks around the restaurant and together with his staff, make sure that the guests are all comfortable and happy. Call ahead and make a reservation for dinner because they fill up fast. I can't wait till I'm next in Sydney for business. Will definitely be stopping in.

Approximate cost: $25

A great atmosphere and fantastic staff. My husband, 1 year old son and I go there on weekends for breakfast or lunch. A must try there is their corn fritters which are amazingly good and something different from the usual bacon eggs and toast for breakfast. Prices are also very reasonable for cafe food and coffees.

We'll definitely keep going there every weekend.

Approximate cost: $6-$18 for breakfast

This review is for RewardsCentral, St Leonards NSW

I've been a member of RewardsCentral for so long that I can't even remember when I joined. In that time I've been part of their Gold Rewards program as well. Most rewards programs are like fads that come and go and you almost never see any real return for your time.

RewardsCentral is very legit and they do pay you what they say they will without having to wait months and months like some other rewards sites. There are options to use your points to participate in auctions, to donate to charity or cash out $30 or $100 in direct deposit straight into your bank account.

I have had only good experiences with them and am very grateful for the 4 or 5 cashouts I've been able to make over the years. This is NOT a site you can use to make a living off of but a little bit of extra shopping money every once in a while.

Danna is the groomer and franchise owner in the Wheelers Hill area. She's also fantastic with our dog and he always emerges from her grooming trailer looking so neat and smelling so clean for days after she's done him. Get your bookings in early tho because she's very popular and books out really quick.

Prices are also very reasonable. I've found that what she charges to come to my door and groom the dog in the driveway is cheaper than what we'd pay to take him to another groomer in the neighborhood.

Approximate cost: $60 for our small dog
