Tonight we got the Meatlovers Pizza... This was an absolute disappointment. I expected a quality, fresh and well topped pizza for the $16 price ticket and got none of these. The toppings were less than that found on a chain pizza store product and double the price. The pizza base was stale and rubbery, wish I had saved the money and petrol by staying at home.

Tonight I had the "Fillet Steak with chips, veggies and Dianne Sauce". The steak was cooked perfectly to order (medium) though the gristle had not been trimmed and this was the first mouthful I stumbled across, however after the trimming away the gristle the rest of the steak was great. I got basic chips which were well cooked but I would have preferred beer battered. My greens were quiet obviously cooked from frozen and this showed in the flavour, but the jacket potato made up for it. I will be back as the meal is definitely worth the prices paid.

Located in the very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere of the Pratten community, this lisceneced cafe is really something special. I never thought I would say this about a hamburger, but the passion put into my Pratten Pitstop Burger delivered love on a plate. The homemade burger patties are amazing, light and fluffy with a great balance of herbs and seasoning. The salad was beautiful and fresh and the bacon cooked to perfection. Washed down with a Great Northen was the perfect quick bite for lunch. Even if it is a little out of your way, the friendly atmosphere and delicious food is worth the detour. You won't believe how reasonable the prices are for a small community cafe either.

This morning I had the "All Day Breakfast" which delivered me a mountain of bacon, poached eggs, sizzle steak, sausage, tomato, chips and toast. This meal was huge, the eggs were cook to perfection, the steak juicy and the bacon was perfect and plentiful. I would have liked to see the tomato grilled a little longer and the chips were overkill, not to mention a strange item to find on a breakfast plate. Hash brown would have been more suitable then chips. That being said, the service was great, and I was full and very satisfied half way through this mountain of food. I will definitely be back again.

Today I had the 200g Rump with salad, chips and Dianne sauce. The steak was ordered medium and arrived nearly well done, the salad was very basic and the Dianne sauce was a little dull... The service was great though and the meals were edible for what we paid.

Today I had the Thai Beef Salad which promised promised a beef salad with chilli and a coriander dressing. The flavours were well balanced and full, I personally would have liked a little more chilli but that is just me. There was plenty of beef slightly over cooked but still juicy. The dressing was rich and full of flavour without overpowering the dish. I will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.

Today I had the Eggs Benedict served with Turkish bread and virgin ham. The eggs, as always were cooked to perfection, releasing the perfect runny yolk on the first cut. The hollandaise sauce is one of the best I have had, beautiful and creamy with that perfect tang.

I have been here on a number of occasions now, the food and service is perfect every time. The franchise owner has been on the floor each and every visit, conversing with all the customers and ensuring everything is to your liking.

I will be returning regularly for more fantastic food and service in a relaxed setting.

Yesterday I had the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was over cooked and stringy and the chips were soggy and cold... Will not return!

Today I had the "Gourmet Steak Sandwich". The salad and relish complimented each other beautifully to deliver a rich flavour, however I felt my Turkish bread was over toasted and the steak could have been a little less cooked. Good lunch on the whole though.

Today I had the Mongolian Lamb... When I order this dish I expect rich flavours with that perfect balance of sweet with a spicy punch, that is exactly what I got today. The lamb was tender and melted in the mouth and plentiful, the steamed rice was perfectly cooked and the flavours exploded in my mouth.

This is by far the best Mongolian I have had for many years. Friendly staff, though slightly let down by the lack of table service. The dinner prices are reasonable and the lunch specials offer great value and reasonable selection. Lunch specials are $9.90 which is fantastic for the quality of food.
