I've lived here 20 years. I love having this green grocer shop so nearby. I recently did a price compare from getting woolworths delivery, to shopping here. Its cheaper overall than shopping for what i get than shopping at woolworths. Fruit and veges are usually fantastic quality, dependant like anyway on market availability, and their flowers, all above picked daily from markets. And you get some awesome deals on older, yet still ok to use, fruit and veges. For a single person, who doesnt need bulk buying, the perfect shop to also get meat, and any cleaning, cooking, some stationary, some tools, and even craft and games items. Its like a mini supermarket and $2 shop in one, yet holding its own against the big giants of supermarkets. The staff are lovely and helpful, and happy to assist if you ask, often if vege item run out, there is more in storage they as they havnt had time to restock at that time. I was even looking for a cheesecloth recently, and yep, they had it. Amazing little find, and great for a local mini supermarket. If you want ultra cheap, bulk oversized and mass produced supermarket chain products, then shop at those places and dont complain to the staff here and abuse them. Ive seen it happen. We need shops like this to stay, and I'll continue to support them. Without a car, they are my lifeline for healthy eating and some treats... Thank you all staff at fruitworld.
