Went to the restaurant for afternoon snack as we saw there is a special promotion they are currently running in the event of the restaurant's birthday. All dishes are $3.50/each except the $6 plate. We were extremely lucky to have come at one of the quiet period and was served fresh and cooked to order as we were the only ones in the restaurant. The chef was skillful and decorate is very nicely. there are other junior chefs that do not seem to be as skillful as him but overall, it was very delicious and at a reduced price, I went home happy.

Came over here based on friend's recommendation; for weekend service, it is better to book rather than to be disappointed as the place gets fully booked quite easily. The ambience is quite nice; it kinda feels like you were in a Japanese house, with the traditional table and pillows to sit, you would need to take off your shoes too prior to entering the restaurant. Quite unique and innovative. Ordered seaweed salad, soft shell crab, teriyaki beef, chicken nanban as well as takoyaki. The salad and soft shell crab were divine and would definitely come back in the future. the other food was quite okay; not much difference than the one i used to go at the city though the portion was quite generous. Waiters were very agile and responsive; quite friendly too. Overall, quite happy.

place is always packed every night and if you come in a group, you may not sit together unless you come early during dinner service, which is around 6. Ordered avocado shake, jelly drink they called 'es teler', fried chicken, grilled chicken and some stir fry veges to complement it. The best food is the chilli sauce or paste that is quite unique and spicy enough to complement the chicken. Overall the chicken was quite bland and not quite marinated as I would like them to be. Love the chilli though. The drinks were quite milky and not much topping or jellies which are quite dissapointing as we pay nearly $5 each

Have always been a loyal member of this restaurant, I reckon this restaurant is the best one over the other branches as the staffs are always friendly and helpful. The portion was generous and they are willing to go an extra step if I ask for customised order. My favourites are the salmon and avocado roll, okonomiyaki, eel, and hand rolls. All ingredients were very fresh and worth the price I am paying for. Added bonus is that it is next to the cinema and you can bring it while watching a movie. The black sesame seed icecream is also very recommended.

Went during afternoon lunch session, the place was pretty packed though not as packed as dinner service. Was seated almost immediately, ordered ginseng soup, chicken and mushroom hot pot as well as fish vermicelli noodle. The noodle was average though the fish was soft and the soup was not bland. The hot pot was also quite interesting as you would need to blend it together after opening the lid and it was quite crunchy and maybe only suitable for people with acquired taste. To me, the rice was hard to chew but overall I like the soup pot.

Went after work for dinner and ordered vermicelli noodle with spring roll as well as the pho. The vermicelli and vegies were very fresh and the pho was well seasoned, not bland at all. Was very delicious and satisfying. Generous portion. Ordered the bean drink, and did not quite like it as the taste was not nice.

Came here quite early as from previous yum cha experiences, it is better to come early rather than having to take numbers and wait for hours to be seated. Ordered some prawn dumplings, bbq pork bun, congee, dim sums, garlic and chives dumplings as well as some traditional rice noodles. The food was hot and fresh, delicately shaped and mostly melts to your mouth. Definitely worth it and would not mind coming back every once a while. The waiters are all english spoken which is quite different than the ones at china town and very friendly and helpful as you can order the food you can not find.

Ordered some bulgogi, chicken teriyaki, squid and tofu hot pot. The soup was well seasoned and not bland as you may found at some restaurant. The dish was fresh and hot; however there were a lot of onions on them to last for a week. The ambience is lacking as the place is quite noisy and crowded as it shared the place with other restaurants. there may be delays in catering to your request when it is busy as the waiters often forget. overall, its quite good for a quick meal.

Went for lunch time with friends and at lunch, the prices are considerably cheaper than dinner service. This restaurant used to be at Bondi Junction, which I thought was better. The toilet could do with some maintenance job and there were no toilet paper. We ordered some pad thai, lardna, rice noodles and chicken basil with rice. The food was nice and the portion was quite generous, but it is different than when I first ate it when they used to be at Bondi Junction. Seems that the original management has moved overseas and taken over by a relative. Different chef perhaps? Nevertheless, the food was nice and the price is average.

Went for dinner on the weekend and it was packed with couples; the place had a comfy ambience with soft decorations depicting Japanese culture. We ordered numerous starters as well as a main; tempura, seaweed salad, agedashi tofu, karaage, as well as a bento box. The tempura was quite freshly cooked and crispy; absolutely delicious and cruncy. The seaweed was quite generous and karaage is the best one I've ever tasted. The only minus I could point out is that the waiting time for some meals are considerably longer as I found the ones come before us has gotten their meal first.
