How to fix a trainwreck ...

My wife and I had changed health insurers 3 times in the past 4 years in search of that "better deal" - the one that sounds too good to be true because it invariably is.

As a result, I had managed to not only get my wife put on a loading which cost us a substantial sum extra per month, but I'd also blown my continuity so that we were on full waiting periods with the new fund.

I'd given up dealing with the individual insurers when, out of desperation, I contacted Choosewell to see what they could come up with and here's what they achieved.

1. We were credited with 4 years of overpayments to Medibank Private - a tidy sum.

2. Our continuity was preserved between funds, although the new fund had categorically stated that this would not be possible.

3. We are on a higher cover than we have ever been, and are paying LESS than we have ever been.

Problem totally sorted, thanks to the tenacity, perseverance and professionalism of our Choosewell representatives, Grace Slonim and Natasha Good.

Just a couple of girls who did what they said they would. Thoroughly impressive!
