I must say very very good value here for good food too. My family enjoys dining here on nights that our mother slacks off. Provides a family warmth atmosphere, Tan Nhu Y serves decent Vietnamese and Chinese food. I really enjoy the Vietnamese authentic dishes such as the sour soup as my girlfriend calls it. Very delicious!!

I love the pho here and also their rice dishes. In particular the crispy chicken with rice. Unlike other places, they use boneless chicken which gives it its tenderness as well as its crispiness. Pho here is very well cooked too. They provide generous amount of meat and a variety aswell. Different to some places they also serve beef tail which my mother highly compliments about.

Very spacious and lovely atmosphere to dine in. Scrumptious food served. Highly recommend to try their duck dishes such as Peking duck (my favourite). Pricing is very reasonable and environment isn't noisy and packed as opposed to other Asian cuisines.

I am a big lover of combination broken rice and I must say this place isn't too bad. However I can't say its the best I've ever had. I was quite satisfied with the pork chops however it seem to be more oily as opposed to other Vietnamese restaurants. The side soup was once again very oily. I could see and taste the oil floating at the surface. Good place for those who are after a filling meal.

With the amount of Vietnamese Bread Roll shops in Adelaide, it is hard to find one that is not only nice but also cost effective. With various bread rolls ranging from $3.50 - $4.50 it is hard to beat the value that is offered at Phu Xuong. They have a wide range of meat selections ranging from cold meat, roast pork, marinated chicken. Phu Xuong also cater for vegans and also stock desserts and other meals specifically on Saturdays.

Approximate cost: $3.50

Was quite pleasantly surprised at the huge array of imported stock that was available. On top of that, several requests to have items that were not stocked were ordered on request. Price is dearer than usual however I am more than happy to pay the extra few cents in return of the fantastic customer service provided.
