The only thing wrong here is that when you don't know an area and the Sunshine Plaza is not an easy shopping centre to get around especially when the information directories are all down. We finally found our way to the shop and they have an excellent variety of art and craft materials. There prices were more or less that you can pay else where. The staff were nice and friendly. If you need to find their shop they are near the coles store in Sunshine Plaza.

We had just bought a 2nd hand car and we didn't know much about it and especially where you top up the automatic fluid as like the previous car it was under the bonnet. So we called into see these people and talk about service and being helpful. He gave us all the information that we needed, listen to the engine and when we put it into gears about a little trouble we had had with it, expecting that it could cost us a fortune, but we didn't need to worry, he said it was nothing major and something a good service could fix. The price of the service was around $150 which I thought was rather reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate about going back to them mainly because of their helpful nature and not just trying to make a quick dollar out of us.

When we arrived in Qld we went from a 3 bedroom house and double garage to a 2 bedroom house and no storage. So we found Jefco containers and hired a 20ft container. At the time we paid around $22 a week which we thought was good value. We paid Gympie towing who Jeff from Jefco orgainsed to bring our container from Gympie to where we live so that we could have our storage on our property. Also Jeff orgainsied to buy a container in Sydney had it delivered to our house in Sydney so that we could pack goods into it and then organised to have it picked up and moved by rail. Jeff just made everything so easy.

They have a BBQ dinner on friday nights from 6.30pm. It is all done by volunteers and it is excellent value for money. I have a chicken kebab and salad which is $5 and my husband has a steak and salad for $7.50. Even the bar is run by volunteers. They have tennis courts, darts, pool tables and a TV which is projected thru a projector onto a large wall great to watch sporting events. You really do need to get there before 6.30pm especially if dining with friends or you can end up sitting apart from each other. Very popular with locals.

We had a box coming up from Fairfield Sydney and the carrier that was used was Star Track Express. Our box never arrived when it was suppose to. I found out that they had onforwarded it with another carrier, but they never checked to see if it had arrived. I rang them and spoke to a customer rep, but my complaint has never been followed up as I have heard nothing from them. I will now have to write a letter to them and ask why all of this has happened.

We needed to find a iron on timber veneer that Bunnings didn't have any more so that we could finish our kitchen. I Googled for timber veneers and found this company Consolidated Veneers. I rang them and spoke to a Gentleman named Tony. He had what I was looking for and at a better price than what I could get from Bunnings. They actually supply Bunnings. I explained that our closest bunnings was nearly 100km from where we live. He said that we can purchase directly from them. He was so helpful I couldn't have asked for a better person.

We had to go to Bunnings to buy products to finish off a job of our kitchen cupboards where we had purchased this timber veneer. Only to find that they don't stock it any longer. A bit annoying because we only needed one sheet. For us to travel to the closest bunning hardward it is nearly a 200km round trip. Majority of the time they have what you need and usually at reasonable prices. But once I queried them on the price of their tiles that I could purchased elsewhere for cheaper. They put me thru the 3rd degree about where when and if I had a docket. As if we carry all of our dockets in our bags and wallets just in case.

Most of the time the staff are friendly and helpful. My experience the other day leaves a little to be desired. I ask at the counter for help to get some cord. A staff member said he would fix it up for me, so I thought he was behind me walked over to where the cord was, and waited and waited and waited. Some one else had asked for help after me, and he totally forgot that he was suppose to be helping me, as I couldn't just get it myself. He did see me after one of the managers came and helped me, and he said to me, I forgot you didn't I and I said yes. As I said most of the time they are helpful, but they don't always carry in products what you need.

We arrived from NSW from moving up to Qld and we needed to have our car checked over for a road worthy to change our address and transfer our rego over to Qld. We found the office staff friendly and they did appear to know what they were doing. I think the price was average on what you would pay anywhere.

I decided to go in the way home from town. The staff were very layed back and casual, as they were sitting outside when we arrived. I asked if they were busy and if they could cut my hair. The experience was just ok, the price was very reasonable as being on a pension she offered a pensioner discount. I wouldn't say I was in a big hurry to go back, but if I needed to for a simple cut I would.
