This is one of my favourite shops in Australia.
The girls are always happy to help, and the sewing room is a great idea.
Lots of classes available in dressmaking and crafts.
I love the awesome designers - many of whom you won't find elsewhere.
The markets Thread Den hosts on a regular basis are fantastic too.

I stayed here while attending a lengthy conference and really appreciated the one bedroom apartment.
It was very comfortable, with a full kitchen and lounge area, and views. Not having to do your own dishes is a treat, as was the large bath to sink into at the end of the day.
Just a 10 minute walk to the convention centre.

This review is for White Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant, North Melbourne VIC

The first time I went to White Lotus I thought it was an elaborate joke on vegetarians - the food was too realistic.
The tamarind fish is amazing, absolutely my favourite.
They also do a great takeaway vegetarian chicken soup (for sick vegies, it's the closest thing to mum's old fashioned chicken soup!)
I always make sure to make a trip here when I'm in Melbourne.

This review is for Sacha Drake, Paddington QLD

I love Sacha Drake's designs, and the store is full of gorgeous creations.
The clothes are certainly not cheap, but they're worth the price.
If you get lucky you'll be there on a day Sacha is in store creating a whirlwind of styles for everyone.
i certainly couldn't afford to shop here regularly, but I have bought a few choice pieces that have made my work wardrobe much more stylish.

Approximate cost: $100-300

About average hotel.
Nice sitting area outside with a fountain where you can drink a coffee and relax.
Great day spa - but the Asian baths can be a bit confronting for those not comfortable with nudity!
Rooms are small but clean - average hotel rooms.

There's always something different every time you go to Mona Lisa.
A great range of Metallicus products, jewellery, dresses, and gorgeous knick knacks.
I often find myself shopping for presents there.

This review is for Rosalie Gourmet Deli, Milton QLD

I love shopping at Rosalie Deli.
The range is fantastic, and the ready made meals taste like you're at a restaurant.
Great range of Maggie Beer products.
The flowers as you walk in the front door are pretty special, as is the fridge full of dips.

This review is for Milton Fruit Bowl, Milton QLD

For all those hard to find gourmet specialty items, as well as the standard fruit and veg, Milton Fruit Bowl is a great place to shop.
I love going in and finding something I've never tried before.
The prices aren't cheap but the quality of the food is well and truly worth it.
