A great place to buy motor bike accessories. They have a huge range to choose from and carry women's clothing as well which most shops don't carry. The staff have a great awareness of their customers and the products in stock

This has to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney. It's especially good because of the chronic shortage of good restaurants in the area. The menu is varied, the food is fresh and tasty, and the service is generally good, though it can slow down a bit when it's a full house

John and Nicole are a young couple that run the most honest and probably best bike shop in Sydney. They specialise in European bikes and have a range of exotic Euro bikes for sale. John is an awesome mechanic and is in such demand it can take time to get your bike worked on, but oh it's worth the wait!

Wonderful modern Chinese food using the best ingredients available. It's BYO wine (don't remember about beer, but I always take some!), and the service is friendly, informative and efficient. The best thing they do though are the seafood spring rolls, almost worth dying for, they are magic!

A local independent garage. Petrol prices are not always the cheapest (it's hard to compete against the big boys) but the service is always friendly and the mechanical knowledge and work carried out is always of excellent quality. They also service exotic European cars

It's simply a pleasure to go to the Pastizzi Cafe. The Maltese food (similar to Italian) is always varied and delightful, the staff are extremely friendly and the owners Lenny and Deb are real characters. The coffee though is a stand out. I'd go so far as to say the best in Newtown, including the over rated Campos

Their fruit and vegetables are of very poor quality and go off within about a day of buying them. They often have food on the shelves that has passed its 'use by' date, and the shelves are ofetn understocked. Oh, and good luck trying to find an empty shopping basket!

They simply have excellent fruit and veges. The owners have a great knowledge of their product and always recommend what's current and best. The check-out staff are the friendliest in Sydney and it's simply a pleasure to shop there
