I was diagnosed with colon cancer last year and Dr. Peter Yap, my GP, referred me to Dr. Berney. He specialises in keyhole surgery, which uses minimally invasive techniques. He operated on me Tuesday night and I was discharged on Sunday morning! I was back at work within five weeks! My largest scar is a cut on my belly that measures six cm! When I was in hospital he visited me at least once a day and his post-op follow ups are outstanding. He is bilingual (not that it helped me any as I don't speak French, but I'm sure French-speaking people would love this!) and he was trained in Switzerland and Australia. I couldn't have had a better surgeon. I would put my life in his hands. Any time.

You couldn't ask for friendlier staff! Jamie and Chi welcome everyone by name, it seems! I've watched the way they treat elderly customers --- always with patience, respect and good humour. Even though there might be cheaper pharmaceutical outlets nearby, I still choose this pharmacy, if only for the personalised service and attention.

My partner hired Ed and his offsider Mick to remove some horrible palm trees from the backyard while I was away on holiday (1997). It was such a great surprise for me, and the job was so well done that since then we've called on them for every job under the sun --- garden and house maintenance, building a back yard fish pond, even baby sitting our dog in our own house while we go away on hoiday (yes, that's how much we trust them)!!! No job is too small for them, and they charge very very reasonable rates. You couldn't get better mates --- they're now part of our lives.

We have been dining here since we moved into this suburb. Belinda, the manager, has always treated us superbly. The cuisine is predominantly Chinese, but they also have some Thai and Aussie food. If you want something cooked differently, just tell the cook --- nothing is too difficult! On Friday nights they have a 3 course meal for only $13, and the servings are huge! Their take away times are also very quick.
