A great place to get cheap books. Often they'll have a table set up, marked '$1 books' where you can get some bargains. And since it's on campus, you can find second hand books for your course more easily than a regular second hand shop.
The only place to buy sushi on the clayton campus. I've never tried the other food, but they also serve noodles and other asian cuisine.
The sushi is fresh and delicious, though
Great if you're studying in the library and don't want to walk to the campus centre for some real coffee and nice food.
There's a big dining space too.
The souvlaki is delicious
I love the atmosphere here. There are narrow shelves with book piled up to the ceiling. You can get a good bargain here, and trade your own books in. The owner is really friendly too.
There's so much charm here - There was once a family portrait in the window that had a note on it, saying something like 'this picture was found in a box of books. Do you know these people so we can return it?'. You don't find that at Borders!
The place I buy coffee from when I'm at the Caulfield campus.
The coffee is really great, hot and delicious!
The only bar on campus. It's a good place to eat and more often than not, run into friends. There are also great MSA (student union) discounts.
The food is nice, but the atmosphere better.
I've only bought chicken from here once, and it was cold.
The chips are nicer elsewhere on campus.
The only thing I really like about this place is (surprisingly) the fruit salad. It's fresh, with real pineapple and a great healthy snack.
The best chips. Ever.
A small place, clean and (it seems to be) family run.
The food is inexpensive, the fish delicious, and they sometimes do grilled salmon which is the nicest thing ever. The staff are really friendly.
My favourite place to buy coffee on campus - it's hot, the takeaway cups are big, and the service is friendly. Plus the music they play is always good! There's also a wide variety of food sold there, pizza, sandwiches, rice, even breakfast in the mornings.
I love these sandwiches - the bread is fresh, the ingredient too, and it's put together in front of you, so you can choose exactly what you want and it doesn't get soggy. There's usually a line, but it moves fast.
Fills you up for hours.
