Was pleasantly surprised by this olden establishment. We had breakfast here one morning. The lady who was serving us was just lovely.
The breakfast was beautiful. I do recommend this to anyone who is after a hearty breakfast in town in a quiet atmosphere.

Love what they have done to the interior. Food was as expected. Nice, simple and reasonable pub meals. Had one of their specials, a chicken and vegie stew on mashed. It was lovely.
Will definitely come back if quick and simple was what I feel like.

Haven't been here for over a year. Went there last week and was very disappointed with the portion and the price.
Staff seems inexperienced.
Will not be hurrying back.

We regularly come here. However the last couple of times, it has been pretty average. They have increased the price of their food after their renovations, which is fair to cover costs. However, it seems their quality has dropped as well.
It is still a nice, cheap place to eat, but I know of other establishments who charge the same but is of a higher quality.

We heard that there is a new Yum Cha place and that the food is pricey, but very good.
So, we went there one Sunday afternoon. Was very glad to have gotten a table without booking. After that, disappointment follows. The service was slack. I understand that the place is new and therefore, the staff could be a bit slow trying to adjust to the establishment. However, ignorance is not an excuse if you are trying to establish yourself.
When the food came, it was simply BLAND and UN-fresh. All our dumplings was luke-warm. I kept breaking open each one to make sure they were cooked and not frozen.
Overall, for what they charge, I would not go back until things has improved on the floor and kitchen.

This place is perfect for students or if you are on a budget. It has so much variety at such low prices. Everytime we come here, we leave with very full bellies.
The food arrives quickly and usually all together. The service is so-so, but it isn't a silver service establishment.

This is a quaint little pizzeria on East Terrace that I believe is trying to tap into a niche market for people who want quality pizza and is happy to pay for it. There was four of us that evening. We ordered three pizzas, the prawns, four cheeses and the ham and pumpkin. They were all fantastic. Very fresh and simple ingredients. We also had the gnocchi which just melts in your mouth.
Only problem was the smoky atmosphere due to the wood fire oven. Can irritate your eyes if sensitive.
Overall, very happy dinning experience.

Easily one of the most popular lunchtime haunts of city workers. Had lunch there with colleagues from work. We booked for 12pm. Arrived there on time. Had to wait for service. After 10 or so minutes, was seated. Ordered our drinks and food. Arrived surprisingly fast, and all together. Good if you like noisy places and is just there to people-watch. Not so good if you want to hear your friends. Food was basic pub grub style with little variety. It is ok if you want something fast. Price wasn't good for value. It was decent considering its location.

Another dessert gem which had popped up in Adelaide. Went there for desserts after dinner one night. Nice, funky decor. Korean-family owned with French influence. Had churros (spanish doughnuts), the fondant, and the crepes. All the desserts was to die-for. Absolutely delicious. Presentation was very classy too in a simplistic way. The crockery used was very cute. Overall, desserts was great. A little pricey for what it is, but worth it as a now and again treat.

Went there on Sunday night. Tried booking, but they don't take bookings under 6. Had to wait in the cold for a few minutes, but was luckily enough to be seated soon after. Ordered the popular desert of the month, which was the rose pannacotta. My sister had the durian custard cake and chocolate mousse. Pannacotta was easily the best out of them three. The place was cute and funky. Good to catch up with friends for chit chat. Service was great. Didn't wait long either for the food, eventhough it was busy late Sunday night. I was advised that they change their menus every month, which is a very clever tactic to ensure repeat customers. Good job guys.
