This small company was able to repair my 30+ year old Singer overlocker when it stopped working. The work was completed within the advised time frame and very economically. The staff I dealt with were polite and efficient.

Gig and a Bit have just rescued everything off my laptop for me. After testing they diagnosed a hard drive fail, replaced it with a more robust SSD and did their best to copy all the data and programs across from the old drive to the new.

I called this company to resolve the problem of my TV no longer receiving the 'free-to-air' channels. The solution was a new antenna, but the technician suggested putting it inside the roof instead of outside, so solving an ongoing rainwater leaking problem at the same time. Great result - I'm really pleased The appointment was arranged within a couple of days, and the technician arrived on time, and took all necessary COVID-19 health precautions. I thoroughly recommend this company.

This company specialises in the repair and maintenance of solar systems. They recently did a check of my roof top solar system, which included checking the status of the inverter, performing the anti-islanding test, checking the connections of the panels, and cleaning of the panels.
There was a prompt response from my website enquiry, and an appointment arranged. All work was carried out as promised, the technician arrived on time, and the bill was as quoted. He also advised me of a potential fault, but advised me how to easily monitor that the system is generating power.
I'll certainly call them when the next service is due, or repairs are needed.
All contact was polite and courteous right from the start. The quote was done very promptly, they were happy to accommodate my long working hours.
On the day, the team arrived on time and worked safely and swiftly to have the work done within the afternoon. All work was finished as agreed.

I've used this company twice, and while they do good work once they arrive, getting them to arrive is a different matter.
In the first instance, the person arrived on time to quote on the job, and I booked them for the job to be completed in 4 weeks time - the next time I had a weekday off work. In the morning I received a call to say that because of equipment failure, they were unable to come to do the work, so the work was completed 4 weeks later.
In the second instance, the person was unable to come to quote. A mix up in the office had him double booked, so he was unable to come.
I wasn't prepared to give the company a second chance.
The technician clearly outlined the steps he would take to diagnose the fault with my slow performing laptop, and quoted a reasonable price. The job was finished within the day as he was able to order replacement parts immediately, and the final cost charged was below the quote.
The technician was friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with the work.
Living on a tight budget means that luxuries are few - but if I'm going to treat myself, this is where I go !
I've tried several different pizzas, and the crust is just right for my liking which is between 'thin and crispy' and 'thick', and the toppings are tasty and plentiful.
I collect a takeaway on the way home rather than dine in, and the service and is always timely.
