Unfortunately, this shop has closed down so there is nothing to review anymore. The only butcher left in Padstow is Barry's further down Padstow Parade nearer the station.

I bought a restaurant dinner coupon for two people, before visiting Melbourne, for Le Gourmand in Richmond (http://www.legourmand.com.au/#!) for either the cheese or charcuterie (meat) board. The service was outstanding, especially as I was by myself, and the friendly staff suggested beverages to complement the meal and looked after me well. I chose the cheese board option. The food itself was a masterpiece of arrangement on the long, wooden boards; colourful, appetising and superbly prepared with love. YUUUM!!!! You had a choice of cheeses as well as a selection from the tasting board and dessert list. There was a wide range of beverages to choose from, from soft through beers to wines to coffee and cocktails. The food was Australian/European fusion with a French panache. The French rustic décor and soft music playing in the background promoted a relaxed feel and added to the ambience. I had a fantastic night out. The restaurant is also open all day for six days (closed Tuesdays) serving breakfast through to dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going again next time I'm in Melbourne. Thanks, Le Gourmand, for a truly lovely and thoroughly delectable evening!

This review is for Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, The Rocks NSW

I had a great time with a friend on a BBQ Lunch Cruise on the beautiful Southern Swan square rigged tall ship sailing on Sydney harbour. There was finger food taken round just after leaving port as we motored out to the end of the harbour and a fully licensed bar was open for the majority of the trip serving water, juice, beer and champagne. If you were interested you were able to help hoist the sails or, really adventurous, climb the mast to the crows nest to look around the harbour from a higher perspective. Laser clay pigeon shooting is also held on one of the other cruises. An Aussie BBQ was then served and was eaten with gusto while we sailed gently back into port. The trip took about two hours and the weather was cloudy and a bit cool. They suggest wearing casual and comfortable clothing, a hat and bring a jacket and wet weather gear if needed. Shoes should be low heeled or flat with no high or pointed heeled shoes allowed as they are really impractical. There are narrow and steep stairs to go below to collect your buffet lunch and it's a bit of a squeeze if two people are going in different directions. The crew were great - friendly, informative and willing to answer all questions about the ship. The ship itself is well looked after with gleaming polished wood everywhere. I had a great time and so did my friend. I would really recommend this as a great old style sailing experience and am looking forward to going again in the future, maybe on one of special event cruises.

Fantastic gourmet pizzas and the chicken parmigiana is melt-in-your-mouth yummy!! The staff are usually very busy but helpful and friendly and the feel of the place is warm. Great range of wines and beers, and lovely Italian soft drinks to try. I sit inside when I go there, which is when visiting in Melbourne, but there are tables outside as well. Would recommend highly and will keep returning.
