I had a brief window of opportunity with babysitting to grab a haircut and my regular was on holidays so I went here based on the commendations on this site, and was disappointed unfortunately. I felt like I got the hard sell on all of products, another appointment and a big fuss made about doing a review here, several requests. They told me they value customer service but actions didn't match the words. And mostly I am disappointed with the cut. I explained what I wanted and was told, oh no, there's a better way and the cut was done very differently from my normal and from how I asked and I'm not happy with the result. I also found them a bit rough. Given how extremely positive the reviews are here and how opposite my own experience was I just wanted to Shae that, not bitter but not what I was expecting.

I have worked through beginners to level 1 and an intensive course here and enjoyed the entire experience and recommend it to friends and anyone else. Teachers are excellent, they actually teach and I have found this active form of yoga to be very rewarding, plus the meditation and relaxing elements of classes included too

Approximate cost: $155/10 class term

We are very pleased with this service after 4 weeks. The couples box is the right quantity for 2 of us- just a little bit more than we need probably, but it is making us take fruit to work for snacks which is a good thing. Cooking at home as the week draws to a close is much easier with a fridge full of fresh vegies, so we're saving heaps on tired, last minute take out! All good.

Really interesting shop, but very boutique, small and staff weren't terribly helpful. I inquired about classes they run and was told to look it up on website, nothing much more offered even though I was the only person in the shop!

This is one of those rare beauty salons where you don't feel like you need a makeover before you can walk through the doors! I stumbled across it on a recent trip to Brisbane and had a terrific manicure - and promptly booked in for a mini facial and massage from their terrific 30 minute short break menu for my last day before leaving. Very sad they're not in my hometown. Quite a find. Prices pretty standard.

Approximate cost: $Manicure $55, 30 min facial and massage $45 each

Macaulay Cleanskins, as the name suggests, specialises in cleanskin wines. They also sell a wide range of interesting beers (as well as the regulars). Very knowedgeable owner who staffs the shop most days - from what I understand he buys the wines at auction. Almost unheard of these days, he even listens to requests and sources wines and beers that customers ask for. He sells the most terrific DRY rose, two varieties very good lately in fact, and at $10 a steal. My first stop for wine (even before Dan Murphys believe it or not!). Open very long hours for a little store too.

This review is for Leisa Mc Cosmetics, Kensington VIC

Small, independent store selling a wide range of cosmetics and beauty products. Also do in-store beauty treatments like facials and makeup. I had my makeup for my wedding, and a trial, done here (by Leisa) and enjoyed the experience very much. She was very resposnive to my requests and queries - not easy to do when I basically never wear makeup so was a major sceptic to the whole thing! But Leisa was lovely to deal with. The finished product wasnt world class - my bridesmaid had to do a job on smoothign out my foundation to remove a line along my chin and my lipstikc (though an absolutely stunning colour I would never have chosen but was absolutely terrific) smudged all over the place at "the kiss" and throughout the night which was a bit disappointing. But all round fine - and as with any beauty therapists/hairdressers etc you get what you want if you insist and ask for it.

Survey Monkley provides web-based survey design, distribution and reporting. I have used them for around 7 years and had my account open for all that time. When I am doing major surveys or work, I upgrade to the Professional account for that month/s and when not, I cancel the subscription but my account remains actiev and I can still access all my historical surveys at no cost. I find the level of analysis that can be done of the survey results, and the sophistication of the survey design, is not absolutely top class but entirely sufficient for my purposes such as memberships surveys and consumer research with around 1,000 respondents. Serious, academic research would call for something more sophisticated but I have presented data collected through SM at international medical conferences (as an example).

Constant Contact is an email marketing service that you subscribe to monthly and access over the internet. It designs for you elements to put on your website ike subscription boxes and/or import a list of subscribers/recipients and you can then design and send email newsletters and other marketing. You can then monitor response rates, what people have read and clicked on etc, to a reasonably detailed level. For an 'out of the box' solution you have a lot (certainly enough for me) control over the design of emails, managing mailing lists and preferences and more. If you have reason to send bulk emails this is definitely worth looking at - I use it for a volunteer group's email newsletter and even with our meagre funds it is very economical, and saves me a huge amount of time in manually updating mailing lists and other administrative tasks associated with sending a enwsletter. Customer service is also extremely good - based in the US, so overnight delays to respond with time difference sometimes but worth the wait in my experience.
