After getting a positive review from a friend at work a few months ago, I decided to drive up to Hilton to dine at The Local Cafe. I have now been there twice with family and each time the service has been great and the food is simply delicious and very affordable. The last time we went as a group of 6 without a booking and the staff were very quickly arranging a table and coming to get our order. I wasn't expecting this so it was a refreshing thing to have happen. We all had breakfast and a drink, coffees and juices and they came out in a reasonable time frame. We definitely recommend The Local to anyone in the area, or willing to travel a little - the food and service is certainly worth it!

I have now been to Cleopatra's twice and each time has been a wonderful experience! I went with my teen daughter and we both had a full body massage - I had the scarab (hot) stone massage and she had the general swedish massage. The staff were very friendly and caring and we were both extremely happy with the service they provided. I have recommended it to my friends and am booked in for another massage in a few weeks :) Cleopatra's is a great place to go for a little relaxation and pampering!

I love Tony Ale's for my weekly fruit and veg shopping :) They offer a great range of products, including local produce, and the quality is always fantastic! You may pay a little extra but it's worth it to have great quality products that will stay fresh in your fridge for the whole week :) I always recommend it to family and friends! The only possible negative is that the store can get very busy at times and you often find yourself saying "excuse me", "sorry" or "pardon" as you squeeze your trolley past and stretch over to reach the fruit because floor space is quite limited.

Very happy with the Nu-Lawn team :) John and co have been mowing our lawns for a few years now and they do a great job! They work efficiently and are here and gone before you know it! No need to be home, they let themselves in the side gate and leave the lawns neat and tidy after each visit :) They also offer verti-mowing and their costs are good for the services they provide! Thanks John :)

This review is for Oriels Cafe, Subiaco WA

I was going to a show at The Regal with some girlfriends and had time for lunch before the show. Having been to Oriels back when I was somewhat younger, I was happy to see it was open again. Unfortunately I recommended to my friends that we eat there as they "used to be great"! In hindsight I should have realised that something must have been amiss as there were quite a few empty seats and the area was very busy at the time! After waiting in the doorway for a few minutes, a staff member finally noticed the four lovely ladies (us) waiting patiently and directed us to a table. The waitress was quick to take our order and between us we ordered two lasagne, a BLT and a chicken, avocado sandwich. They seemed to take their time making them and we were delivered three dishes - I sat and waited, telling my friends to go ahead an eat before it gets cold!!! Meanwhile, having glanced around the table, I noticed some rather ordinary looking plates of food, and an even stranger one once they finally delivered my meal (chick sandwich). Well the squeezy sauce on the plate may have worked for a kids meal but really???!! They were all served with chips that looked like they had been recooked ten times over - they were awful and barely edible. The lasagne meals were meant to also hae salad (according to the menu) but the salad must have done a runner! The BLT had a huge pile of onions on top - not listed on the menu and not usually found in a BLT! My *sandwich* was made up of two slices of french stick bread cut on the angle, chicken that was cold in some spots and tepid in others - not really pleasant at all!! I couldn't apologise enough to my friends for making them endure such awful meals. Needless to say, Oriels (the New Oriels) has certainly lost it's spark and we will NOT be returning there, not recommend it to anyone else. The only saving grace was the prices which were reasonable for the proportions but put your wallets away and spend a little extra on a decent meal elsewhere!!

This review is for Ramon's at Willow Pond, Canning Vale WA

We recently went to Ramon's at Willow Pond as a last minute Sunday lunch booking. It was quite a windy day so we sat inside. The atmosphere wasn't very exciting but it was pleasant enough. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - I think we had 4 different service staff attending to us during our lunch! That said, it would have been nice to have been asked for drinks again during our meal. They were prompt when asked though. Our meals were all delicious and we all agreed that we would revisit Ramon's :) It was nice to have a walk around the pond and garden after our meal; such a wonderful way to end our outing. We will be back, thank you!
