Everything about this place is just average without being terrible. It is a family type hotel with kids everywhere and you know that before you go there. The meals are ordinary but pretty cheap and when busy, its hard to get served. Not a place I would go regularly.

This is a Geelong icon but the service is very average. There are not enough staff on and they are not particularly interested in serving you at times (especially the young guys). The drinks are a bit over priced and so is the food in the restaurant. Bar meals are reasonable value and decent quality. The beer garden has a great atmosphere. It is close to being outstanding but a few things let this place down.

This is relatively new to Geelong and we stopped by on Boxing Day after hitting the sales I the city. This is a great place for a quick lunch. We both had fish and chips (flat head tails and flake) with a salad (you order the fish then a side of chips and salad). The quality was excellent, size was average and service very good considering how busy it was. Would recommend this place and I'm sure its in for the long haul.

Great little pub in a great spot. Excellent for drinks and a casual meal. Not over priced and always a good atmosphere. I am a regular visitor to this pub when in Sydney.

Reasonably regular here and the meals are usually very good quality. Service can vary as can waiting times. Monday parmi night can be crazy but you know that in advance so its not a problem. Drik prices are a bit over the top but generally a good place for a meal and a drink. The roof bar in excellent fun in the summer.

Very busy but nice place to have dinner and a few drinks. Casual atmosphere and homely feel. Meals are a good size and quality. Staff were very busy but did well to keep up.

Great new little French restaurant in Geelong. Quite a few menu options and an extensive wine and beer list. The service is excellent and the food of very high standard. A definite place to check out, even just for a drink.

Went for drinks after work and not many people there at all. A few came and went. Bar staff appeared uninterested and preferred to talk amongst themselves. Quite expensive drink prices too.

What a secret gem! Great rooms, exceptional service and reasonably priced. Convenient parking and not too far from the CBD. The staff are extremely helpful and I could not find a single issue with this hotel. Spacious room with a balcony and two bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Extremely expensive for a pub meal ($28 for a chicken parmie is the highest I have ever seen). The quality is similar to what you can get for genuine pub prices, maybe slightly higher. They got 3 out of 6 drink orders wrong and the staff member was quite rude. Drinks are also the most expensive at any pub in Geelong. hey also gave one of our party salad instead of vegetables and the waitress turned her nose up when this was pointed out. Then we could not split the bill even though two of us were paying 50% each, they simply refused. I would not go back here, there are so many better options and staff that actually want you in their establishment.
