Excellent take-away for large groups

We used to go to Limor's with our family for birthdays and celebrations etc. The quality of the in-house service was very poor (very arrogant staff) so we generally only get take-away these days.

The Chicken Schnitzel is great and comes in huge servings. The meat platters are also good but are getting a bit pricey.

Thai food worth travelling from Caulfield for

We were introduced to Thaila Thai by our daughter a few years ago. At first we said why would we want to spend up to an hour sitting in traffic to drive all the way to Brunswick. But after our first experience we were hooked. The interior of the restaurant is pretty average although they have recently opened an upstairs area with more modern chairs and tables.

The chicken satays are the best I've ever had and at $12 for 12 satays you can't complain.

Honest and reliable mechanic who doesn't overcharge

I go to Adam for general servicing on my wifes Suzuki. We've also had him do a Roadworthy check and certification on a previous car before selling.

We regularly buy take-away chicken and chips from this place. The chips are cooked perfectly, they definately change their oil regularly because they are never dark or burnt tasting.
