Total waste of money! $900 out of pocket. Very painful procedure with no results. Definitely want my money back...

Moving from the inner city to the suburbs, AT FIRST I was impressed with Abfab....I went there for a facial and had an incredible experience. It was perfect down to every last detail, the gown, the slippers, a room to sip tea before the facial to help relax you. I then went there to speak to the nurse who does the wrinkle injections, I found her helpful informative and professional. Taking into account all the professional service I had recieved at abfab, I REGRETABLY decided to have my make-up done there before a family photo shoot. Obviously the girl had no scope of immagination, with the look I was trying to achieve 'fresh and dewy' and basically scrapped and dug her make-up brush into the bags under my eyes trying in vain to cover the dark circles. I put up with it for about three or four minutes before telling her that it actually hurt when she was applying the concealer under my eyes when she was brushing so hard. She took a break from concealing my 'bags' to concentrate on my foundation etc. When it came back to my eyes, I said that the concealer she had put on was blotchy, and the eyeliner she had put on actually accentuted my wrinkles and crows feet rather than complimenting them. The make-up artist then dissapeared only to return atleast ten to fifteen minutes later with a small dish of water to obviously dissolve the eyeliner. I didn't have a watch on to time precisely, but it was long enough for another girl to ask me how I was going, have a quick chat offer me a coffee, then go away and make me coffee, bring it back to me and i had only just finished it before the make-up girl had returned with her small dish of water. By that time I had enough and told her just to finsh up, she gave me a sponge and basically told me to dab under my eyes myself, so it wouldn't hurt. Then she did my mascara, and asked me to look in the mirror, I said I normally wear it a lot thicker than that and once again, she handed me the brush and told me to apply it myself then! This is the first time I have ever publicly complained about a bussiness, but I was so disappointed with her lack of professionalism, knowledge and attitude towards making up an older lady- that I just had to search for a site where I could vent my Anger at wasting $90 on something I could of done better myself at home! My rating is based on this make-up experience alone, if this had not occured I would never have sought refuge for my anger on the net and would have been perfectly happy with all my experiences at Abfab! But Unfortunately your make-up artist failed me.
