I am surprised by the compliments this place has got, I even had to check if it was the same place that we ate the other night. Perhaps if we had ordered differently but we had the banquet for 4, great value at $16 each for the 3 of us but as it was 4 for $48 total they did not give us the extra bowl of rice. You had to order 2 cold dishes and 2 hot. Had 5 spiced beef and Pork in ginger and soy. The 5 spiced beef was fairly tasteless considering and was just like cut deli meat. The pork was nice although had the little bone in it. Hot meals we ordered the (broiled) scallops and the chicken and veges. Chicken and veges was the nicest part of the meal. The broiled scallops came after the 3 other mains, then the (seafood) soup. The soup came with no spoons and we had to ask. When we got the spoons we ended up just straining some of the prawns from it and that was about it as it was mainly cabbage which seemed to have flavoured water andn oil over it. Even the scallops were little boiled things. Would never go back. The worst thing was when the waiter was cleaning up and spilt juice on my jeans, a quick apology was it!

This is a micro brewery recently opened in Hoppers. My husband has joined as a member as his own home brew although cheaper has failed dismally lol! He has only tried one called Mexicana which is supposed to be like Corona beer. Although it did not taste like I would have thought it would he finds it a great comparison. You have to make 6 slabs else if you join you can put your name on the board to just make one slab so you can try the different beers. This particular one costs him $130, rather than on special at bottle shops for $50 a slab. Only catch is you have to supply your own rinsed bottles else buy six slabs off them for $50 and they can only be used twice unless you do a bleach wash which hubby is not too keen on. Friendly staff

Approximate cost: $130

At the moment they have an opening special of %50 off dog grooming till end of May 2009 so we got our German Shepherd groomed. Did a nice job and our dog was happy. You walk your dog through the store which is a very different experience to be able to take your pets inside. Full price would have been quite a bit though. I really liked the big store and especially the fact that the cats and kittens they sell are "needing homes" with their association with The Lost Dogs Home & Cat Shelter. I would much rather help give a home than buying from a store that just has people that do not fix their animals supplying them.

Mick has been our plumber for years. He does a lot of our smaller jobs that other plumbers would simply not do. The things he has done for us are replace 2 gas plates (at different times), install a new sink, raise a tap when we got a new deck, remove tree roots that grew into our toilet system twice, and finally replace a gas hot water system. Our hot water system started dripping (as he had warned us a couple of months before it was on its way out) and was able to come a couple of days later and on a Saturday no less, $150 for the gas hot water replacement is the only figure I can remember)

I stopped in here as I had not seen a dentist for a while and needed one just to check up. Did a very thorough clean, Maisa Zumot was the female dentist I had. In the past I have been put off by the dentist looking down at you/frowning etc but she was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. My son then had to go and he had the same experience despite needing a lot of work (he was able to use the government teenage checkup voucher bulkbill too). Quick to get an appt too.
Pricing I had is as follows: Comprehensive Oral $57 (this is checking every tooth)
Removal of Calculus first: $110 (this is the thorough removal of plaque)
Xray per exp $33 (so both sides $66)
A filling is going to cost $135

Have ordered a couple of items online from this website. You can subscribe and get an email after 12pm each day as to what is the special or just check www.catchoftheday.com.au each day and see what they offer. One item I got was a mystery box of toys for girls under 5 years old I think for around $15 + shipping.

My experience of the electronics department is not good. Each time we have tried this store it is hard to get a salesperson. One time we went in and all the sales staff were too busy talking to acknowledge us in the store.

The man I had on the service desk was great, very honest and helpful. Prices are listed behind the counter. My car suddenly got a funny sound so drove straight in and they looked at it straight away. Rang me when they knew what needed doing before proceeding with anything. Turned out to be my oil switch, but I had a service at the same time. Ready by mid to late afternoon same day

We regularly go here to buy any new electronic items we need. I can take my time thinking about purchases but they really know their product and don't seem to mind taking your time in a decision. Not pushy at all. Can get a better deal just by asking generally

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Werribee/Hoppers Crossing. I enjoy off the specials board Chicken Libaba, costs $20 and comes with Steamed veg and chips. The veges are steamed to perfection and the chicken has a great curry kind of sauce. No formal table cloths, just sheets of paper that the kids can draw all over which they enjoy. They have pizza, pasta, as well as meat dishes. Range from $13 - $20 or you can entree size pastas for less. I think some steak may be more. Also I must say that the main courses are BIG! I can never get to eat dessert. Great value for money!
