I love this bakery. Lots of beautiful freshly baked loaves and rolls as well as a great selection of pastries, cakes, slices and buns. My husband is a big fan of the apple turnovers as they use fresh cream, while my Nan & Pop can't go past the custard tarts. Certainly a place to stop for a break as you're passing through town.

This is a beautiful little store that is jam-packed with an array of beautiful things....from ladies clothing and accessories, to children's clothing, baking supplies and party decorations. Most of the products are from small businesses and boutique chains so the products are quite unique. This is a great place to shop if you're looking for a gift - particularly a lady or child. The prices aren't low, but neither is the quality. Likewise, if you're hosting a party and needing special baking supplies or cake decorations this is the place to go. You can also hire cake tins.

The staff are friendly and helpful and offer gift wrapping for a gold coin donation.

This store is split in two - women's clothing and accessories in one section and home interiors in the other. Both stock high-end merchandise and quality products (especially relative to the surrounding businesses in Batemans Bay). The prices tend to be a little at the high end, but then so are the products. They also offer an interior decorating service although I've never used this myself.

Probably the best thing going for this place is its location - it has views overlooking the bay and is in the heart of Batemans Bay. You can dine indoors or outside which is another bonus - although if you're eating outside be mindful of the birds....don't leave your table unattended for a second as you'll lose your meal! The food is nice enough and the prices OK, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately it's very hit and miss as far as service goes.

Erica has a great range of fragrances and different candle sizes so her products can suit any budget. The fragrances are sensational and the packaging is practical and pretty. They make a great gift!

Two of the best features of Erica Soy Candles - you can use the melted wax as a moisturizer!....and she offers a refill service so you can save money by just having your jar refilled rather than having to purhcase a whole new product. Great idea!

Jackobindi sell button covering kits and a range of associated supplies (hair clips, book marks, magnets, etc.). You can place an order online and I usually find the products are delivered extremely quickly. Very prompt and reliable service.

As we live nearby, and my daughter's were under 4 (and therefore free), I bought an annual pass so we could go as many times as we liked. The grounds are immaculate and the kids love the mini train ride (this is free with an annual pass). They also have a lovely grassed area where you can enjoy a picnic and the kids can play in a small playground.

This shop has an extensive range of beads and beading tools, etc. It's well designed so pretty easy to find what you're looking for. While I wouldn't say the staff are warm and friendly, they've always been helpful.

This place was pretty run of the mill when it comes to cafes. The menu was OK, as were the prices, but nothing to write home about. The best things about this cafe is the amount of natural light it enjoys, and the fact that it's right near the indoor kids' play centre so if you can score a table close to the edge of the cafe you can enjoy a coffee while the kids play.

This place is something special. We had a reservation for 7.30pm on a Friday night and the place was fully packed! What an atmosphere (albeit a bit on the noisy side)! The food was honestly sensational and quite reasonably priced. Highly recommend the salt & pepper squid and the massaman curry. Both were sensational.
