A friendly, old-style barber, good for the 'short, back and sides'. There have been a number of staff changes of late, not necessarily for the best. Offer good value for money, but cash only business.

My child had never been in care and the staff were great. He settle very quickly and was excited about the various activities he could do. A great intro for my child before starting pre-school.

The swimming teachers are pretty good and caring. Not all the relief / casual teachers are as great with the kids. The admin staff are friendly and welcoming. A little on the pricey side.

We've been using these guys now for nearly 3 years. They have always been honest in dealings and timings are generally as expected. When unexpected things happen, they call to give us a quote.

I had seen a couple of books I wanted but they were pretty pricey. I saw them at QDB - some at 1/3 of the price. What a great assortment of books. A great place to buy presents for kids.

I returned a mobile under warranty that had stopped working. Was told 2 weeks to be returned. From 2 weeks I began calling and made no less than 30 phone calls to various offices, sent emails and letters and had no response. Finally after 8 weeks, the phone was replaced.

We took our mower in to be repaired and were told there was a 2 week wait because they were busy. I called after 3 weeks and was it wasn't ready. In the end it was nearly 4 weeks for the repair. They weren't waiting on parts - just hadn't started. On the day is was fixed, it took less than 1 hour!

Our pet bunny escaped from its hutch and ran away. A neighbour found the bunny and took it to Hornsby Vet. When I found out, I called the staff were helpful. They had looked after the bunny for the night.

This is a great centre that helped my son settle in from day one. He loves going and wishes every day was a pre-school day. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming.

I'd been told by a friend about this florist so I used them recently to send flowers for condolences. The owner, Elvia, explained the flowers she would use and the type of arrangement that would best suit my budget. She was also upfront about the delivery charges. I saw the flowers at my friend's place two weeks later and they still looked good. I will definitely be using them again.
