New store opened up last weekend and I went along for the great specials. Got Hills dry dog food for 25% as well as fancy new dog treats that my dog loved. Discounts on good quality toys too. I got offered assistance 4 times but I didn't mind as each staff member was assigned a different area (ie: toys, fish, dog food) and each approached me genuinely wanting to help me. Got treats, Kong toy and dog food for the price of the bag of dog food and will be shopping for higher quality dogfood here instead of Coles or Woolies. Happy to support a great local company.

Went to the family owned and operated, Choppa's for the first time yesterday. I am very very particular about how I have my hair cut and told Christine that I had recently had a good cut done elsewhere and that I would like the same. She went through my hair with a comb and gave a few 'hmms' and 'ahhs' and told me how the previous hairdresser had cut my hair. This way she knew what she needed to do exactly. She checked with me the whole way through, making sure I was happy with everything (which I was). I thought that was very thorough and really showed her skill level. She then went on to give me a perfect cut, not a hair out of place!

I will be back and will recommend Choppa's to friends. I particularly like that this place is locally owned and run and that my money is supporting a great small business! You certainly don't get service like this from the big companies.
