Art on King is a bookshop as well as art supplier with a range of supplies to suit most art and crafts. I have purchased paints and sewing supplies, they also have a range of Warhammer, Magic the Gathering and other fantasy genre items which i used to get for my son. Well established and in a good location.

This review is for Sir William Wallace Hotel, Balmain NSW

A pub with lots of charm and character, the Wallace has been a great venue for a number of years. The pub in general is quite small, but ive never had a problem getting a seat for some food. People drink in the main bar and under the varandah on the street. Try the chef's special pie, its a favourite of mine.

This review is for Victoria Yeeros & Takeaway Food, Marrickville NSW

I have been eating Yeeros and bbq chicken from Victoria Yeeros the whole time ive lived in the area. The yeeros is fantastic, not too oily and always fresh ingredients. Usually a line in peak times but the service is fairly quick, sometimes the staff can be a little stressed and quick to rush you out but thats to be expected. Lovely chips and good value when buying for the family.

I have been attending this hair salon for quite a few years now and i think that says a lot for the service. The staff are very friendly, can do almost any request from styling, formal do's, colouring and more. The salon has a unique style, a retro theme that suits it to a tea. Highly recommended.

A very nice time to have some drinks, have spent a fair few nights having a bite to eat and drinks with friends. The food is nice and lots of nice drinks on tap. The function rooms upstairs are really good for parties and birthdays with lots of people being able to fit in and a bar to suit. Not far off darling street, nice spot to drop in for a drink.

This review is for Marrickville Seafood, Marrickville NSW

Fresh seafood in the inner west, its great to have a place that specialises in fresh seafood of all types close to home. The staff are friendly and the store has been around for almost as long as ive been in Marrickville. They have a diverse range of fresh fish and the calamari rings are a favourite of my son. They also sell cooked seafood if you dont feel like preparing it yourself. Prices are fairly decent and much better than buying at your closest chain supermarket.

This review is for The Basement, Sydney NSW

The Basement is a Live Music Venue as well as restaurant in the City. They have fantastic tribute nights as well as a large range of local and international acts playing all year round. You can book tables at the basement and also eat dinner while you watch the show. I have seen fantastic Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd tribute nights many times and i try to attend acts as much as humanly possible.

A very nice pub down near Mort Bay in Balmain. The whole pub has been renovated very nicely and the bar is a nice place to enjoy a drink. Have been with family and friends for lunch many times, the menu has a lot of variety and i have never had a bad dish. The portions are generous and the combinations of dishes are fantastic. Great place to have a function, with lots of space in the upper deck restaurant. The bar menu has the pub regulars, but i have only eaten in the upper deck restaurant before.

My favourite restaurant in Marrickville i couldnt pass up a review on it. I regularily visit on weekends for lunch. I have been going to Huong Huong for many years (even when it was down next to Marrickville station) and the food has only gotten better. They have a wonderful range of soups, curries and noodle dishes. Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai.. you name it they have it. Very well priced and very fast and friendly service.
