I went to buy backpacks for myself and my son before a trip to Europe and was helped by someone who'd spent a lot of time backpacking and warned me of the pitfalls of carrying a heavy backpack, especially in London. She steered me towards bags on wheels with lots of compartments at a comparable price. Don't know how we would have made it up those stairs in the underground without them!

We've bought heaps of electrical stuff here and we love the interest free terms, as long as you pay off the full amount by the due date. We've always had good service, without being hounded. Once we bought a heap of stuff and were given an extra component by mistake. We took it back as soon as we noticed and the staff were very appreciative. Sound and vision staff know about their products.

Good pub food at a reasonable price in a good atmosphere. We often have an early dinner here on a Sunday and it's usually quite busy so it's a good idea to book ahead. Extra rooms are opened up to cater for group bookings.

A few of my friends rave about this place but I wasn't overly impressed. Food was average, service was ok. Good if you like a noisy, family atmosphere - the place is often busy. Best for a coffee before or after a movie.

Meat that tastes as good as it looks. Nice lean cuts and a huge variety, including British specialties and game meats. Excellent friendly service, even when the football is on! Some products cheaper than the supermarket, but even if it's a bit more expensive, it's worth it.

Mu mum loves coming to visit just so she can go to IGA. A great selection, deli and English and Sth African foods as well as all the usuals. Very busy on the weekends.

I found the staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive. If you want help you need to ask for it. It is true, though, there are often broken machines.

Delicious takeaway Indian food. I've never been tempted to dine in because there isn't a lot of atmosphere. Tiny restaurant that you have to walk through to collect your food. Friendly staff, delicious food.

Real live band! OK, it's covers, but it's varied and it's fun. Usually packed with backpackers, there's not much room on the dancefloor but it doesn't take too long to get a drink.
