As a high school student, I visit Manouch House quite often in the morning simply because it's opposite our highschool. It's a takeaway and pizza restaurant. Prices start from $2 and make their way up. I love buying the za'atar (they also have cheese za'atar) which is an oregano pizza and it is quite popular. Their pizzas are fairly nice to eat but don't have the WOW factor. They also sell drinks, milkshakes and ice-cream - great for summer.
Every morning Manouch House is packed with customers (mostly students) so unfortunately the wait does get long but it's much better to go there than to go to our school canteen.
It's a great place to go to if you're not feeling picky but instead peckish.

This review is for Basement Books, Haymarket NSW

My sister took me to Basement Books and I really liked it. There are so many books to choose from and everything is so cheap. I also managed to find this book, called Ruby Redfort, that I had been looking for everywhere. It was pretty expensive online but I managed to get it here for $2! How amazing is that!

However, none of the books are in order - therefore it might take a long time for you to find whatever you're looking for. Maybe that's not a bad thing though, considering how awesome this place is.
