My husband and I had been going to different chiropractors for the last 7 years. It had always been a “hit and miss”, chiropractors tried to guess what to adjust, too many adjustments caused inflammation which practically disable me for the next 7 to 10 days.

Before I went to see Joe, my husband and I religiously had adjustments every 1 or 2 weeks at a local chiropractor. The adjustment started to give me pain and discomfort when I was heavily pregnant and 30+ weeks. I could no longer tolerate the twisting, the pressure, and all the things the chiropractor did in order to do the adjustment. When I had bad inflammation from the adjustment, the only “advice” given was “it is normal for the inflammation to happen” and to put an ice pack and to come back for another adjustment.

I was very concerned about my health, especially being pregnant, trying to get my body ready for the labour and trying to make sure that the baby will sit in the right position (eg: not posterior or in breach due to misalignment in the pelvis, etc).

I did a research about chiropractic and came across the Gonstead method. This is how I found Joe who is a fellow member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society. We did not hesitate to see him although we have to travel 30 minutes to his clinic.

The adjustment he did was specifically targeted to the main problem/ cause of my discomfort. Most chiropractors out there will only do “compensation adjustment” and not solving the main issue. It is no longer a “hit and miss”. In fact, the service he delivers has always been “consistent”. I know that I will feel better after seeing him. The adjustments did not cause discomfort on my “big belly” which grows even bigger every week. I still went to see him at 38-39 weeks of my pregnancy. On the big day, I was in labour for only 1 hour and 40 minutes, 4 pushes and it is all done. The midwife was so surprise and told me that it was because the baby was in the right position.

Through the consultation process, my husband learnt that his spinal cord has been damaged due to incorrect techniques and adjustments performed by the previous chiropractors. We realise that not all chiropractors are the same. Some could cause damage to your body, which is irreversible. We only wish we see Joe earlier than later. After seeing Joe for about one and half month, my husband health has improved a lot. He breathes a lot better, less restriction in his movement, etc. Overall, it improves our lifestyle.

We also took our 33 months to see him. He was delivered via suction/ vacuum. The suction caused his head/ neck to misalign resulting to breathing problem. My son was not able to breath through his nose (he had to breath through his mouth instead). He had difficulty to sleep at night. It took 2 hours to put him to bed because he would be moving around, trying different position before he could fall asleep due to a blocked nose. After one session with Joe, he is now breathing through his nose. He sleeps much better and wakes up with more energy because of uninterrupted sleep. Joe has definitely made a big impact in improving our family’s health.

The clinic has a play-room for children filled with interactive toys, keeping your kids occupied while you wait for your appointment. We feel that the clinic and the staffs are very accommodating and very family oriented. We feel like home when we are at the Discover Chiropractic.

Fast delivery, with some loyalty program (eg: buy 10 packs of same dog/cat food in 12 months, receive 1 bag free). They offer flat rate shipping. They have a lot of different products for pets. Recently they move their office (not sure where the new office is). I contacted them to enquire about the product and still receive no reply from them. Not sure if it is because they are busy during the relocation.

Nothing special, too ordinary. You can find a lot better coffee shop around Melbourne. I'd probably walk another 5 minutes to Max Brenner :)

Great indonesian food, lots of varieties, inexpensive. If you are after stir fry, authentic Indonesian food, this is the place to go. Staffs are friendly and generous in giving extra prawn crackers, etc.
The "es teler" is really good. My recommendation for food goes to the MI GORENG TERASI (a little bit spicy).

Approximate cost: $10-12

I like the settings, the lightings, waiters are very friendly. Although some times when they are busy, they lack of staffs on the floor. I had to wait a little bit for the meal.
I had lamb ragu pasta, the sauce is so delicious. I raise my hat!!! But my partner's steak was a bit cold.
They don't really have great selection of food, not many varieties. But overall is OK.

Love the coffee. Generally all the drinks are WOW but the dessert is not that good. Probably the best one is the chocolate baba, other than that, they are just average. Waffle is disapponting, chocolate pizza is not that great.
My fave is the suckao. that is just great.

Dstore has everything, from apparel, pet supplies, movies, make up, etc. They are cheaper than most retailer. The shipping cost is also low and reasonable. The customer service responds promptly and very generous is giving purchase credit when you write them reasonable complains.

It is very convenient and very easy to navigate their website.

Classic drive in. Love the donnnuutttsss, unfortunately they don't come in 8 anymore. Screen is a little bit small but overall, great experience. great to watch with your partner. Not ideal to do a double date since it is so hard for the people who site at the back to watch the screen.

however, when i went there, the screening time is different from what was advertised in the villagecinemas.com.au website. but, i was able to watch other great movie.

Good value for money, located at crown, the back entrance across the exhibition centre. The menu offers various combination from steak, pasta, pizza. You can also choose different kind of pasta. I had the spaghetti pescatora and it is good.
Serving portion is a bit small but overall is good. The service is a bit slow and some waiter has a bit of attitude. But they give you plenty of time to sit and enjoy your meal and not rushing you by keep taking your empty dishes.

great food. service is a bit slow, especially if you sit outside, the waiter won't be able to see you.
it opens until late at night, offers varities in the menu. Great for hanging out with friends, have a bit of drinks, good food. I had the seafood pasta, and it was great. will definitely go back there again.
