Decided last minute to head interstate for a couple of weeks over the Christmas/new year period (~3 weeks). This place was pretty much the only place I could house my cat for that period.

Visited around the start of December, looked ok, cats were clean, didn't smell, the cages looked large. Sounded peaceful with soothing music, falling water etc.

When I dropped my cat off the day before we left, I was not able to visit the area to see her in the new environment. Also a cat escaped, but was caught when I was there the first time..

When I picked my cat up after her ~3 week stay, she was very skinny. Staff didn't say anything that she wasn't eating or and they pretty much hurried me out of the place.

Approximate cost: $16.50/day for 1 cat

If your looking for a good time out with friends, this is a great place to go. Very interactive. I've been here a few times now, once with a large party, once with a small group of girl friends and the last time with my boyfriend.

The chocolate pizza is divine (ask for cream AND ice-cream YUM!)
Their pizzas are non greasy which is what I look for in a pizza place. The atmosphere is fantastic!

Approximate cost: $15

I frequently visit this value for money cafe for lunch, both eat in and takeaway.

On Fridays is usually very busy! best to ring before hand if taking away. There isn't much space to wait inside. But it defiantly is worth the wait!

Small menu with lots of options, however they like to add potato as a vegetable in curry dishes.

Approximate cost: $13

I use these vets for my regular pet check-ups.

Last year I bought a new kitten, I discovered that on his back legs he had little dew claws coming though, I was worried that as they were weeping, he injured himself somehow. Through consultation with the vet, I had him booked in for surgery. What I didn't realise that two vets work at this clinic, the vet that originally saw him was away on holidays.
The other vet thought that it was unnecessary to operate as it wasn't bleeding at the time, he called me at work to discuss, in the end I went with his professional opinion and saved myself around $300.
Its good to have a vet that you can trust!

This is my favourite pizza place to date. The pizza's are delish, fresh, not greasy and cooked to perfection! Also the pizza makers are not scungy with the toppings.
The owners are lovely and love a chat. The pasta dishes are fab also, I have a hard time choosing I have so many favourites.. Last but not least, they make a great chocolate pizza (or is it calzone these days) YUM!

Even though the shop is a small one, if you can eat in it is good in winter, the shop is deliciously warm, but more warmer in summer though.

They also do local deliveries!

Approximate cost: $15
