This review is for Just A Cut, Brighton SA

This is my regular barber and I travel several kms to have my hair cut here. Just a men's barber shop with discount rates for pensioners. Would have to be the quickest, neatest barber in Adelaide. Although a quick haircut, it is also a very good cut with personal preferences adhered to. Between 5-10 minutes maximum is all it takes. My wife never walks far from the car when I am in the chair and she is amazed how quickly the job is done. Thoroughly recommended for men with a tight schedule to keep,

This review is for Troy Lane Golf Services, Flagstaff Hill SA

I am a keen golfer and had a lesson from Troy Lane. He is the SA State coach and has been top ranked in his job for a number of years. He quickly diagnosed some of my golfing faults and gave simple drills to correct hem. His advice on shaft flex for my swing was spot on and I was able to match my swing with the correct flex. I was able to see Troy in action coaching young learners and older golfers and was impressed with his ability to relate to all levels. If you really want to improve your golf I'd recommend a lesson from Troy Lane/

This review is for The Duck Inn, Coromandel Valley SA

Great place for family eating. We took 3 generations to The Duck Inn. I had fish and chips and salad for a filling and tasty meal. The children were catered for with kids meals and especially the dessert with sprinkles over the ice cream. Adults were offered a variety of meals, all tastefully served with a good selection of salads. Drinks were available from the small bar. Tjhe log fire in cold weather gives a homely effect. Lovely setting and great meals.

This review is for The Coffee Club, Oaklands Park SA

I use the Coffee Club at Marion regularly for a coffee and a quick meal. I was "lured" there because my golf club membership entitles me to get 2 for 1 coffees there. Service is good and the meals are quickly prepared and reasonable cost. The closeness to the movie theatre complex makes it an ideal place to eat before going to see a film. The seats and surrounds make it a relatively private place to chat with friends even though it is situated in the middle of the walking thoroughfare.

This review is for Vili's Cafe, Mile End SA

verified email - 22 Apr 2009

I often use Vili's as a spot to have a snack to eat while out shopping. Vili's is well known for his pies and pasties and there is a range of sumptious sweets as well in his cafe. Always seems busy but I guess if you have to wait a little longer to be served it is a good recommendation for the food there. The times that I have been there the place is packed and sometimes getting a table can be a bit difficult. Good food, tasy coffee and the nice smell of freshly baked bread and pastries always tempts me to buy more than I should.

This review is for Flagstaff Hill Baker's Pantry, Flagstaff Hill SA

I use Bakers Pantry as a place to get my favourite pies and pasties for a quick lunch. Their pasties are filling and have a nice natural taste. I particularly like their tuna pies as an alternative. For sweets I would recommend their light and fluffy cup cake lamingtons. Friendly quick service and cheap commendable pastries. Range of excellent drinks and coffe is also made here although I tend to prefer a juice with mu lunck.

This review is for Luna Rosso Cafe, Hyde Park SA

Often go to Luna Rosso on King William Road for a quick lunch break. Meals are varied and the chef is top class. David has great juices, freshly squeezed, and I like his varied combinations. My favourites have a tinge of ginger. Last time I had a pizza shared with my wife and it was a filling and tasty meal. Surroundings are clean and comfortable and staff are very friendly. Well located on a busy strip their prices are very reasonable.

Typical of the Cheesecake Shops, this shop offers the usual range of sweet cheesecakes. I liked their range and have come back on a few occasions to test their fare. Friendly staff and located centrally in the shopping complex.

Went browsing through this "cheap-type" shop and saw the usual items expected. Bought a couple of tools and some odds and ends. Self service style shop with friendly check out girls. quite a reasonable range of items and is one of a kind in this area.
