This was my first time here & I was very impressed with the service which was very quick & friendly. The meals looked & tasted fantastic, presented well. All the ingredients were fresh. Highly recommend shredded pork rice paper rolls, beef with Peking sauce, stir fried chicken with satay sauce, special fried rice. The cusine is Vietnamese & Chinese.
Will definitely go back.
This business has been operating in Coburg since 1922. The business was handed down from father to son - Keith still runs the business aided by supportive, friendly staff who provide quality customer service that I believe is long gone in other stores. This is a business you can trust.
If they haven't got what you are looking for, ask & they will make every attempt to get it in for you. My family has been going there for 47 years & they are simply the best.
It was a Friday night, thought I would get in for an early tea 5.00ish. Put an order for my friend & I of a small calzone & 2 entree serves of chicken & mushrooms (pollo el fungi).
The calzone arrived after 40 mins! After enquiring twice after a 15 minute break, re the fettuccini, we were told it is coming & another waiter said after another enquiry the kitchen was "really busy because we have a lot of take away orders !. The fettuccini arrives at least 30 minutes later & did not look like the order & had a very distinct seafood taste & odour. Won't be going back
Offers a variety of indoor & outdoor pots, ornaments, water features, garden settings, collectibles - Betty Boo, Elvis, Marilyn Munroe, Disney characters, Freddie Kruger etc. Fantastic, friendly old fashioned service. Happy to bring in a special order if not on the shop floor
