my family and I have been going to the great western since we were young kids, and still love heading into town for a feed. They have upgraded their building since I first remember going there as a child . The bistro Area is modern (has been redone) and the gaming room /pokies have their own little section. Great western hotel offers Cheap pub'counter' meals aswell as a wide range of delicious meals on the bistro menus. From what I remember eating last in the bistro, the pricing was pretty good also. vey happy overall with our experience throughout the last 10 years here. the wait , bar and gaming staff are approachable , friendly and really lovely aswell

As a basketball , senior official of 12.5 years , I have refereed at many higher elite levels ,competitions and a variety of stadiums. I have been officiating down at Torquay for several months now and have loved my experience in assisting the local 'development' of this basketball association aswell as sharing my knowledge with assisting their referees also. :)

It is great to see how much time and effort the coordinators, supervisors and staff put into making the nights run smoothly and offer domestic level - basketball competition for junior /senior players interested in playing the game! Cannot wait until the development process on towards findings approved by basketball Victoria is in action to expand the sporting opportunities & offer more places for teams to enter into competitions :)

This place has been arouns ever since i was in promary school plaging local netball on tbe exact outdoor courts (except back then they were ghetto , bitchiman , street -type courts).

i believe this big sporting complex , over ten years, has upgraded and caters for not only outdoor netball competitions , but basketball ( 4 indoor courts), badminton , karate , courts are available for community /& club training hire aswell as have an operating canteen. Massive carpark located out the front of thecomplex which is 100% free parking & is wheelchair accessible. Staff are wondefjl down tbere also. To anyone in the local area lookkng for courts to hire /train on or a place to enter a teaminto ... Defiantly worth checking this place out :)
